1st off, the fighting tigers need to stay focused and ready for any and everything. especially after playing for a state title last year. and realize anything said by us posters don't mean a dadblain thing. Friday night when the ball kicks off is the only thing that means a thing. the state game is past, the league title is past, last year is past. expect to get everyone's best shot. because we'll have a huge target on our back this year. no talk I hope about canton, playoffs, league titles and the like. the only thing that matters now is Portsmouth. and everyone knows how far this series goes back. good luck to both teams for a clean, safe, injury free game. and let's see what happens. let's go fighting tigers.

Ironton hanging 50 in the first half is embarrassing. This could be the worst Portsmouth defense and offensive line I’ve ever seen. Roe has no time to throw. Ironton is as good as advertised, won’t be challenged until playoffs. Portsmouth has a TON of work to do if they want to win games.

Portsmouth was a mess but ironton is the real deal. Roe has no time to throw And had to run almost every play. The lines need work bad. Receivers dropped ball all night. I think intimidation played a role. Seeing Portsmouth run 4 receivers and throw is something I’m not used to seeing and Parker is gone and the run game left. Credit to ironton they are the real deal and beat the Trojans up. If Portsmouth doesn’t make major changes that south point game next Friday will be closer than people think. 50-3 at halftime is nuts.

Bottom line is Ironton is loaded with a boat load of talent, portsmouth has a lot of work ahead of them with one of the smallest teams I've seen them have ever.

Agree on what you said. You could tell irontons kids live in the gym and probably do a lot of lifting on there own time. The size difference was unreal. Portsmouth is very small but fast. Problem with being small Is the line will have trouble blocking. Portsmouth plays south point Friday and will look amazing but how do you know if your team has improved playing a team that is so bad. Just play and win. Curious how the ironton Gallia game turns out.
