I think the Oaks might give the Burg a game. This kinda has an old school feel to it possibly. Oaks are going to be run heavy. Burg does a nice job mixing it up and will need to tackle well to stop the multi faceted Oaks running game. It should be another Southern Ohio style football game. I believe the Burg wins this but again could be interesting.

No secret at to what the oaks are gonna do, that's for sure. That being said, burg prepares well for it, like they did last year and come out with a "w".

Just saw the Burg last night, I would like to know how many tackles they missed. I know minfords qb is fast and shifty but give me a break. Looked like a high schooler against jr high defenders.

Oak Hill also has a qb that is good. He is young , but best they have had for a while.

The Oaks defense had 3 interceptions last game but Valley’s passing game still really hurt them. I don’t know what the Burg has on offense, but I’m sure they will attack that weakness early and often on their way to a win.

Burg run defense was a weakness for them last year . I think it’s improved but I’m not sure how much. Burgs offense is pretty good. Minfords d was decent and they put 42 on the board. If Oak hill can move the ball on ground, this could be a close one

The oaks lost week 1 but looks like they hung with a traditionally very good program. The fast swarming good tackling D burg showed in week 1 looked slow and couldn’t tackle in week 2. Burgs O spreads the ball around and looks to be pretty solid. This one will be interesting.

Since the teams started playing again in 2010 the burg is 7-1 against the oaks with a average score of 43 ppg 5 ppg. The lone oaks win was in 2010 29-22. Since then the oaks have only scored 13 points including shoutouts in 4 of the last 5 meetings

I'll take Oak Hill 21-14. Oaks turn a lot of heads with this one.

Very well could be more of the same thing. Oaks had no passing game last year at all, it's no different this year. Very rarely are you going to have very much success just running the ball against the Burg. Still not convinced that St. Clairsville was that good this year, even though they are Div. 4. Not sure which one needs the most help, the Oaks pass defense, or Valley's run defense. I'll be very surprised if OH can make it a competitive game just trying to run the ball.
