Piketon is going to have to be much more physical on defense and must protect the QB much better than they have all year to keep this one close at all. Not sure why people still keep doubting Adena, but what they have done is no fluke. I think we score around 48-14

Who’s doubting Adena? I haven’t even seen a single prediction that even has Piketon coming close let alone winning.

Fair, that no one has predicted Adena to lose. But each week it has been stated this team can keep it close or that team can do this to slow down Adena. It’s okay to say Adena is just head and shoulders above the league right now.

I can see that. I think most of that is wishful thinking from homers. I still think we were just a few plays away from that game coming down to the wire. Adena right now IS head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the league. They have great skill players and a very dominant line on both sides of the ball. That combo most years puts you right at the top of the league. This year the league isn’t good at all so they’re gonna dominate most Friday nights. I see no scenario where they don’t win a gold ball this year.

Have to give Piketon credit for keeping this one close for a half. Their offense can be dangerous, but not many local teams are built to handle Adena’s combination of speed and physicality.

Usually you see these scores with passing teams but dang to put up 64 relying mostly on the run is impressive.

PV and Adena returned most or all of their lines from last year. Most of the other teams lost their hogs. That’s the biggest difference I see so far

I don't think they threw a pass in the second half. So, I guess they did "run it up"!

No. During week 1 the ball carrier pointed at our kids and waved as they scored. There were cheap shots and late hits. Just things that don’t need to be part of the game. Unfortunately, the officials were very poor and let them get by with it.
