2020 Oak Hill 14 - 21 Portsmouth West
Re: WK5 Oak Hill - Portsmouth West
West dared the Oaks to throw it tonight and they just couldn’t get it done consistently enough to win. I still saw some promise to their young qb and hopefully this game helps him grow as a passer.
Re: WK5 Oak Hill - Portsmouth West
Great Game by West. They pretty much stuffed the OH run game all night.

They’ve improved the last few games, even more than I thought. Good win West!RiverBallFan1 wrote: Mon Sep 21, 2020 8:25 pmWest is young and still mistake prone. They’ve improved in he last few games but not enough to beat the Oaks. 28-14 Oaks!

I think oak hill had a bit of a let down coming off the Minford win, they were slow out of the gate and couldn't recover.
Re: WK5 Oak Hill - Portsmouth West
Maybe. I think West just took OH out of everything they wanted to do offensively. They stuffed the run and made them pass. West passed and OH cannot defend the pass.greygoose wrote: Sat Sep 26, 2020 9:09 am I think oak hill had a bit of a let down coming off the Minford win, they were slow out of the gate and couldn't recover.
West had another TD called back on a bogus man down field call after halftime. This score was was closer than the game was actually played.
Re: WK5 Oak Hill - Portsmouth West
That last sentence is definitely false. Oak Hill had more total yards than West. Oak Hill offense was stifled, yes. But don’t act like this was a blowout lolWestfan wrote: Sat Sep 26, 2020 12:53 pmMaybe. I think West just took OH out of everything they wanted to do offensively. I dunno, it's at west and burg may be a little flat due to looking towards the tournament. Rivalry game, you never know.Beergogglebluez wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 1:24 pmNo it won’t lol. I’d love to see it but west is not ready yet for Wheelersburg
