Would that mean a tie for the Ohio? Or how does it stand at the moment?Raider6309 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 3:18 pmHopefully Wellston does it’s typically fall apart at the end of the year

Buckeyes win in a close I think

Right now Wellston is first at 3-0. NY is second at 3-1. If NY wins and Vinton wins it will be a tie for the title. It’s unfortunate that Wellston and Athens didn’t playBeastOfTheSoutheast wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:36 pmWould that mean a tie for the Ohio? I see. Thanks for clearing that up. That is unfortunate. You think they’d at least get all the conference matchups in on a short season.NY BUCK wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 12:27 amRight now Wellston is first at 3-0. NY is second at 3-1. Wellston and Athens were scheduled to play. Game was cancelled. Don’t see why the two don’t make it up after playoff elimination, TBH.BeastOfTheSoutheast wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 12:55 amI see. Especially if a TVC Ohio title is riding on it.formerfcfan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 1:01 amWellston and Athens were scheduled to play. Game was cancelled. Nelsonville-York holds a 23-17 all-time record vs Athens.

Re: Athens (2-2) @ Nelsonville-York (3-2) Non TVC Championship Edition
Wellston didn't want to take a chance on Athens knocking them out of the TVC championship again this year. I think they should be forced to play, after they both get beaten in the first round of the playoffs, so NY can at least tie for the league title.

The home team has not been very successful in this series lately.

Re: Athens (2-2) @ Nelsonville-York (3-2) Non TVC Championship Edition
There will be no TVC-Ohio champion this year, unless everyone can figure out a way to play each other before week 10.
Per league rules: all teams must play each other.
We've run into it in baseball/softball before where teams are playing each other after they have already been eliminated from post season.
I saw where Wellston went ahead and scheduled Meigs for 10/23. But if they don't play Athens - they can not be league champs. Especially if NY beats Athens and is just 1 game back - and I think the Bucks would have to play Alexander as well before week 10.

It will be hard for NY to play Alexander because they have games scheduled for the 16th and 23rd. Unless they would drop one of them to play a league team. Having played every year since 1972 I think they could work something out if needed.93Bulldog wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 2:20 pm There will be no TVC-Ohio champion this year, unless everyone can figure out a way to play each other before week 10.

You're not wrong on that... however, 2020 is a complete wild card. Did the conference give official word that is still the case or will they bypass it for the year and still allow whoever is in 1st to claim the title? Not that it actually matters.

Re: Athens (2-2) @ Nelsonville-York (3-2) Non TVC Championship Edition
It has not been brought up in any league meetings yet, from what I've been told by someone who would know. So as of right not, unless it is - and voted on - you won't have a league champion in 2020. Unless of course teams can figure a way to work it out where they play. The big question mark would be Wellston vs Athens. You can't claim a TVC-Ohio championship in football without playing Athens and or Nelsonville-York, just from a moral standpoint. lol
