Re: October 2, 2020 Portsmouth - Gallia Academy
Trojans have gave up 115 points in 2 games and average giving up 42.6 a game. That’s terrible for any team and a change is needed whether it’s the defensive coach or scheme because what’s going on now is not working. Had big offensive number vs coal grove but there defense was almost as bad and it looked like a madden game on easy mode. Gallia wins and wouldn’t be surprised if they win by 42.6 average. They brought back a huge line and Armstrong. 45-28 is my guess. Portsmouth can sling it they just can’t play defense or tackle.

Similar result to both teams, last week. Basketball score with GA on top by a score or two.
Re: October 2, 2020 Portsmouth - Gallia Academy
Gallia will be too physical for Portsmouth, run the ball right down their throats. That said I think Portsmouth will score some points. I’ll say 55-27 Gallia.

Gallia has the most size and speed in the conference, other than maybe Ironton, but they're soft and seemingly unable to play power football and properly use that size. Roe will have a field day against a porous Gallia defense.

Interesting, Gallia always has big bodies on their line. Maybe it’ll be a good matchup on the lines then, Portsmouth’s is also very soft, it’s like they don’t have an edge at all, no nastiness to them.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 2:05 amGallia has the most size and speed in the conference, other than maybe Ironton, but they're soft and seemingly unable to play power football and properly use that size. Armstrong is gallias most physical player and hes a running back who hardly plays defense which i dont get way to good of an athlete to ve on the sidelines especially when the defense is nothing special

They've got a freshman on defense who looks like he might be something special. The freshman class as a whole looks impressive.

That game was strange. Almost like gallia wasn’t trying and running basic plays all night Just look flat. Quarterback held the ball way to long and took sacks. Shocking because Portsmouth had a few sacks. The defense definitely played better. We had numerous chances and didn’t score. But if we play like that saturday we are 3 scores better then northwest

Qb looked very slow and held the ball forever. That’s not the gallia team I’ve seen the past few years. They did enough to get a win.

Coaching has been terrible last 2 years masked by a terrible schedule that allows multiple wins

My hope is that the Blue Devils coaching staff has been saving something special for playoffs. I agree that they have been hard to watch this year, way too many penalties and very predictable in the play calling.
Re: 2020 Portsmouth 12 - 18 Gallia Academy
To say this game was hard To watch is an under statement. I saw one team show up to play and The other team just showing up. This ranks as one of The worst performances in gallia accedemy football history.... I hope you are right 78 about gallia holding something back on offence.
