Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
I would have preferred LSU or Bama.
Of course I would have truly preferred Auburn.
I want to play the alleged best teams out there.

Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
I have said before I agree with the comment of loyalty to the coaching staff. Having said that however, coaches cannot play the game, they cannot fail to block on a FG try, they cannot keep a player from getting a personal foul penalty and keep a drive alive. They can teach, and hopefully give the players the tools to do "their" jobs but they cannot do it for them. For the most part I think JT does a great job maintaining control and his players make few mistakes. During the losses to Florida and LSU there were many key plays made and not made that were out of their control. Call it choking or whatever you will but it happened. It was far worse during the Cooper years and frankly I believe it contributed greatly to him losing his job. Is JT perfect, no, is he running a quality program, yes. Would I take a couple losses in title games as opposed to not playing in them at all? Absolutely. His record is speaking loud and clear and I suspect it will prove in the end that he is doing it the right way. Coach K will be known one day as very near the top of his sport and I believe JT will as well. Not true of some of the popular coaches of the moment.

Ohio State will have their hands full with Arkansas...Auburn?....
...Do you watch SEC football?...If...OSU ,the way they play, would have been in the SEC the last 10 years, they would have never been in a BCS bowl game. Not once.

How would you know? You are a wanna be SEC fan that has never been to an SEC game in your life, that just likes attention.

Speculations......The General wrote:Ohio State will have their hands full with Arkansas...Auburn?.......Do you watch SEC football?...If...OSU ,the way they play, would have been in the SEC the last 10 years, they would have never been in a BCS bowl game. Not once.

We got your point General..........

Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Miss State would use them for a warm up game or scrimmage in preparation for the SEC conference games........

Seriously......you need to find some new material or better ways to dis-credit the Buckeyes........ :122249. Your typical BS has gotten stale and you are starting to sound like a broken record. I still can't believe that you actually call yourself a Buckeyes fan........

Hoggy...It makes no difference to me what you think. But since you brought it up OSU is not weak or untalented. The place recruits itself. They are not slow or non-competitive.They are overrated and they play in a weak league,no matter what the politics and perceptions. Scheme wise they are NOT coached up ,compared to other premier programs in America in spite of your fuzzy feeling about the 10-11 wins and the "big hype " win over Michigan. Every year they have 8-10 wins guaranteed before they start because of their athletic and physical advantages they have over their schedule,no matter if Joe W. Blow was their coach. Now as far as Mississippi State,it is quite obvious you dont have any inkling how good a football team they are and athletic and well-coached.Dan Mullen is one of the best coaches in the country. And they are an SEC team who plays in the juggernaut week in and week out when conference play starts. The Rebels, even though they went 4-8,WOULD NOT be an easy out for Ohio State on any given Saturday.
Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
Nor should it matter, but apparently your response indicates differently. Your persistent support of the SEC over your own team is almost hilarious, but at the same time kinda pathetic. Your persistent comments that bash Coach Tressel and OSU has been clearly interpreted and you have left very little doubt about your opinion or loyalty. You repeat yourself to the point of becoming annoying and you have established yourself as the King Troll. You win....the prestige award of the Troll King is all yours , but please, go start an SEC Lover thread or something and leave the OSU threads for the true OSU fans to enjoy without having to read your anti-OSU BS.
I for one am more than satisfied with the accomplishments of Coach Tressel. Would I like to see the Buckeyes win the National Championship every year?.......Yes (but who is actually this fortunate?), Would I like to see the Buckeyes beat an SEC team?....Hell Yes! Do I think that some OSU fans are unappreciative of what Coach Tressel has accomplished?......Yes
You may have some valid points with certain teams from the SEC, but when you make comments like "The Rebels, even though they went 4-8,WOULD NOT be an easy out for Ohio State on any given Saturday.", causes me to think that maybe you are the one wearing SEC goggles.
All I can say is: Go Buckeyes!.................. O-H

The same Ole Miss team that lost to Jacksonville State? You probably think Vandy would compete too right? The General wrote:Hoggy...It makes no difference to me what you think. But since you brought it up OSU is not weak or untalented. The place recruits itself. Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
No.The team that played and competed against Auburn,LSU,Mississippi State,Alabama, and Arkansas. That would be plenty to get them ready to play OSU and very possibly win...And Osu plays plenty of "Vanderbilt type" schools.....Minnesota,Purdue,Indiana,Illinois,EMU,Ohio,MARSHALL.....and Iowa,Michigan, and PSU were not much better this year,no matter how you try to spin it.
Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
Yes General (patting you on the head).......you are correct. Here is a gold star for you to hang on your SEC poster. Now go and play with your Cam Newton doll and let the fine OSU fans continue supporting their team without being bothered.
Go on now.....no SEC snacks if you don't behave yourself.

Well Hoggy finally you are correct about something... :122246 ..Now let me apologize for my admiration of Cam Newton and his immense skills...Obviously the rest of the country agrees..
I will let you get back to your loving glances of your Senator Vest pictorials and us fine football fans will get back to supporting the great football played by a lot of teams around this country.....and by the way I will admit I do enjoy a varied array of snacks during your typical SEC shootout...solid and liquid. And all the while watch the SEC snack on OSU and the ten.

Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
General Troll....the only thing that I have been right about is the fact that you are one of the biggest OSU bashing trolls on here. Everything else has been opinions or speculations. Since you mention your boy toy, Cam Newton, I find it interesting that he was not selected to the All- America team. Wonder why?
DALLAS (AP)
Cam Newton wasn't selected to the Football Writers Association of America's All-America team released Saturday.
The Auburn quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner was left off in favor of Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore by a panel of 12 FWAA members.
I guess they actually evaluated his character and determined he did not pass the criteria. I am expecting that his Heisman Trophy will eventually be setting next to Reggie Bush's.

Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
Obviously these guys have similar intelligence as you. Kellen Moore is pretty good though. And Boise State is one of the top 3-4 teams in the country. Go back to your albums...

Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
LOL....unlike you, they may take into consideration the character of the individual. I guess his past arrest and current scandal may have been the reason. His accomplishments on the field is outstanding and he has performed very well as an athlete, but surely your SEC goggles doesn't cause you to be so bias and ignorant to the actual facts and possible infractions that he committed.
You are actually pretty amusing and I find your thought process more on the lines of an awe struck adolescent. It will be alright General Troll...no need to get so worked up over your boy toy.
I guess your statement " Obviously these guys have similar intelligence as you" was meant to be a compliment. To compare me to such intelligent and knowledgeable individual is a stretch, but thank you for the kind words and finally coming to your senses.
