RD2: Norwood (4-3) @ Waverly (6-0)
Re: RD2: Norwood (4-3) @ Waverly (6-0)
Waverly wins this one BIG,I just don't see where Norwood has the defense to slow down this waverly offense.

Long bus ride for Norwood in this one. I think Waverly gets rolling early and wins by 17+

Waverly’s secondary has to be sharp with sound tackling. The Qb and English the wide receiver are very good. The QB likes to throw it up and English will high point it. Once English gets the ball in his hands he is quick and elusive. Waverly wins but it won’t be a blowout.

The playoffs are about facing challenges. Different teams, different athleticism and skill mixes. Waverly should fear no one but respect all. Raidiger Field may need air traffic control this week: WHS 49 NHS 28.

A nice duo of receivers in this game of Futhey and English, will be fun to watch those two definitely

People picking Waverly to win easily - TIGERS TAKE NO GAME LIGHTLY!
Norwood is a formidable foe with some good athletes and a great WR.
WAVERLY NEEDS TO FOCUS ON THE OPPONENT, HAVE A GREAT WEEK OF PRACTICE AND COME IN FIRED UP READY TO DEFEND THE HOME FIELD IN THE JUNGLE.

Norwoods QB & WR combo in Peter & English is very similar to Waverly’s in Futhey & Shanks. It’s not going to be easy for the Tigers to defend English. He’s a big, athletic body that runs routes really well, has great hands and has the ability to keep his feet in bounds when catching those end zone fades. Waverly will need to get pressure on The QB so it will disrupt their timing. Futhey and Crabtree will need to be in the backfield a lot come Saturday night. It will take a team effort on D to slow down English, can’t expect one guy to cover him.
