RD3 - Minster @ Adena
Re: RD3 - Minster @ Adena
Minster is not as strong as usual.
Paint Valley and Adena will both have their hands full with Mechanicsburg.

Brutal region to be in. Minster is down but they always play teams that kill great teams in SEO

Even a below average Minster team is pretty darn good.
But, this Adena team is hungry and still plays like they have a chip on the shoulder, so they’ll be prepared and focused.
I think the Warriors win by 2 scores.

I can't figure Minster being in the southeast region. I have driven through there and they are at 20-30 miles north of I-70. Nice facility too. Their titles and accomplishments cover a bill board. But they are really down this year compared to previous years. Good luck Adena.

The way D6 is drawn up Minster, Coldwater and Parkway from the MAC are in the Southwest Region (24). Since Adena & Paint Valley are west of Chilly they also happen to fall SW when trying to even out numbers in each region.old benchwarmer wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 10:52 am I can't figure Minster being in the southeast region. One thing I know is to never count a MAC team out. Everyone was saying West Jeff would beat Anna by 3+ scores. Didn’t happen. Some of those MAC teams won’t have a win in conference then come out of conference winning by 30+. That being said I will take Adena but do not be surprised if Minster wins

If I’m not mistaken, Minnster won state a few years ago after going 5-5. Can’t count out a program like this in the playoffs.

Re: RD3 - Minster @ Adena
2017. They were a 4 loss team but all losses came inside that conference. Then they had to beat 2 more of their MAC foes on the way to state. It’s brutal. It usually gets to a point in the postseason where MAC has to start beating MAC to advance as was the case here. When two great teams play one has to lose. If either of the MAC that they beat had beaten them, I firmly believe they would have won statefootball87 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 5:26 pm If I’m not mistaken, Minnster won state a few years ago after going 5-5. Re: RD3 - Minster @ Adena
Good question. Minster is the 11 seed and beat a 6 seed last week. Let’s see if they can get it done vs the 3 seed

Minster beat an undefeated Norwalk St Paul team that year 40-7 in state semi’s and a 1 loss Cuyahoga Heights team 38-8 in the final. Marion Local also won state out of the MAC that year defeating Kirtland who was the team that beat Cuyahoga Heights in the regular season.

Understandable... I'm sure 90% of people have never heard of Adena on Yappi.Kirtland80 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 4:49 pm Update. Seems about 90% of Yappi are picking Minster to win

How would a D7 Minster compete with a D5 Burg or D4 Waverly? Assuming when they are having up years.Kirtland80 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 10:37 pm2017. Re: RD3 - Minster @ Adena
If a MAC team is on an up year, I’d go with the MAC. There’s no reason whatsoever to believe otherwise. They do it time and time again. I know it was Coldwater and not Minster but we have seen the result of Burg vs a MAC team. It was a running clock. Minster lost to Coldwater that year 17-16. Burg lost to Coldwater 36-6 I believe was the finalfootball87 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 8:07 pmHow would a D7 Minster compete with a D5 Burg or D4 Waverly?
