Ny is happy they don't have to make another trip to Beverly. We have a grass field, it is beneath them to play on grass.

My take on Fort Frye's scheduling has always been: We're a smallish division 6 school in a village with no geographic or demographic advantages. Athletes are not transferring to Fort Frye. Nobody from Fort Frye is a division 1 caliber athlete. They're not out there hurting people. Fans aren't hostile. What is it about Fort Frye that would make them have to travel two hours every Friday to play some elite private school?

We're like the high school buddy who got successful, then you stopped hanging out with them because their success makes you feel bad about yourself. We are just another southeastern Ohio school. Why wouldn't we play other southeastern Ohio schools?

I’m not sure why you folks at the fort think warren , Caldwell Monroe and other local teams owe you a game each year , they don’t want to play you move on find someone who does all the teams that don’t want to play you would love to have that problem if you have to go 2 hrs then do it. It won’t last forever enjoy it while you can

I bet if it was your team being punished for being good you wouldn’t be happy. That sad part of it is Fort used to get drug by Shenandoah , Monroe and Caldwell every year and never thought of dropping any of them. This is a losing mentality. Fort Frye is trying to schedule some much bigger teams Parkersburg South , John Glenn , Amanda Clearcreek , Martins Ferry , and Bellaire just to name a few. You have to think we are still one of the smallest teams in D6 with normally 30-35 players. We can’t afford to go play super squads and risk injury it’s just not going to happen.
