I know of Fort somewhat. I have no idea who this Fairland team is but I only wanted to comment that the “soon to be champs” may be a possibility but I wouldn’t crown them just yet. I’ll take Fort in a blowout just for that commentDnation6969 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 11:55 pm A lot of people are sleeping on this Fairland team! Kids have heart and have game! The run defense is very good. Holding a great coal grove offense to 2 touchdowns. Since the blowout in the soon to be state champs Ironton, they’ve scored 66, 42, 57, 41, and 35... The dragons held them to 13.
Only trouble Fairland is really having recently is their pass game. Other than that the running game has been impeccable as-well as the screen game.
Towards the end of the Grove game they switched it up and ran an option/wildcat look. It was untouchable.
People are saying this is a 3-4 touchdown win for the Cadets but I’m seeing this a close game. FF hasn’t seen an opponent like Fairland with its speed, ability to run and pass the ball, and their hard nosed defense.
Cadet fans could be in for a surprise with this Dragon team, it will be a close one. Could possibly be the upset of the entire playoffs, if that’s the case all eyes will be on this team.

I guess there is no need to even play the game according to most of these post. Sorry Fairland

Yeah, heaven forbid people get on sports forums and make predictions. How dare they!
If anything Fairland players who actually read this nonsense should be thankful for the additional motivation.

Fairland does some stuff that scares me a Cadets fan. I haven’t once said I thought it be a blowout. I remember in 2017 everyone said Nelsonville-York was going to blowout Fort Frye in the playoffs. People were predicting 50 point wins. Fort Frye took that game to Overtime and lost. If they make a kick towards the end of the game. Always respect your opponent. It’s not easy to go (8-1).

Ridgewood has called them to play for a year straight... I get why they dont want to, but the continual talk about others "weak" schedule gets old.beg003 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 10:30 pmMan you need to move on from this. It’s in every other post you make. If we can schedule you, we will. If it conflicts with league games or other contracts, we won’t. I heard Akron SVSM’a coach texted yours about a game? Seems like they aren’t scared to play you. Will you pick that one up if it’s true? I guarantee they won’t be scared to play the big, bad Cadets.

The beat wellston who beat Gallipolis who beat Fairland in a shootout. Key component of that game. Fairland was down 5 starters and still could’ve won but didn’t.enigmaax wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 10:43 amWhat Fort Frye games have you seen (and/or what opponents)?Dnation6969 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 11:55 pm A lot of people are sleeping on this Fairland team! Yeah, I’m just wondering about the “Fort Frye hasn’t seen a team that...” I’m curious if there are any points of reference in that statement or if it is purely from a Fairland perspective. Because Fort Frye has played several teams with those qualities in the last couple years. Fairland is a nice team and they could certainly win, I don’t personally believe it would be because Fort Frye hasn’t seen a team as good.JFLRADIO Big Mor wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 1:46 pmThe beat wellston who beat Gallipolis who beat Fairland in a shootout. I try to be a realist in most of my posts when figuring full bodies of work amongst teams. I don't check all the individual stats, players, etc. (to much work) like some folks on here but the teams as a whole is what intrigues me, always has.countywide35 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 4:42 amFANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 12:21 am Fairland had 2 playoff wins over conference teams they had already beaten in the regular season that are only a few miles away and they slid by a decent TVC team that wasn't great this year. Fort is a different animal right now for teams in the SEO region. I'll stick with a FF 3 td win.
Good post.

Fort Frye kinda called the dogs off vs Wellston. Score should of been much worse.

The welston, Afrocentric, Barnesville, and warren. And to the person who stated how I used “soon to be champs” I was talking about Ironton and how they played coal grove. That teams stacked!enigmaax wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 10:43 amWhat Fort Frye games have you seen (and/or what opponents)?Dnation6969 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 11:55 pm A lot of people are sleeping on this Fairland team! Offensive and defensive Lines is where they will dominate. 78 is huge for Fairland though.
