Steelers go out and acquire a player who can help right now.

Steelers hang around in the game making plays when needed to beat the Ravens. The Ravens not only lose but lose OT Stanley for the season. which they do not have a player who can come close to what they had in Stanley. Should move the Ravens back from being contenders this year. Unless other players step up.

Steelers had a solid game but Ben's arm going to be able to stand up to the abuse of the NFL season and playoffs???

The Pittsburgh Steelers have activated offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski from injured reserve on Wednesday. They placed inside linebacker Ulysees Gilbert III on injured reserve. Wisniewski injured a pectoral muscle in the Steelers season-opening win over the Giants. He started Week-1 at right guard in place of David DeCastro. The Steelers signed Wisniewski as a free agent in the offseason for depth behind the starters at the interior line spots. He has made 104 career starts.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the latest organization to be fined by the NFL for violating the face mask protocols. The Steelers were fined a total of $350,000 for violations in Week-8 against the Baltimore Ravens. The team received a $250,000 fine for a lack of mask wearing on the sideline. Coach Mike Tomlin was fined a $100,000 fine for not wearing his mask.

Survive is one thing against good teams. Dallas has just been showing up and leaving games. They came in with nothing to lose and took it to the Steelers. Which also led to Ben being hurt. Makes it very hard to advance far if Ben is banged up. Will other teams now have some success on defense doing what the poor Dallas defense did? Like the Bengals with a better QB?

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Tuesday morning that they've placed four players on the reserve/Covid-19 list, and one of the players is QB Ben Roethlisberger. In addition to Roethlisberger, the Steelers placed offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins, running back Jaylen Samuel and linebacker Vince Williams on the list. These moves come less than a day after the team moved tight end Vance McDonald to the reserve/Covid-19 list, and then announced that one of their players had tested positive.

If Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger tests negative through Friday, he'll be able to return to the team on Saturday. And on Saturday the Steelers will help Roethlisberger make up for lost time. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that the Steelers will have something more than a normal half-hour walkthrough on Saturday. Roethlisberger has taken part in meetings virtually while on the Covid-19 reserve list, due to exposure to tight end Vance McDonald, who provided a sample on Sunday that generated a positive test.

The Pittsburgh Steelers made it through nearly nine weeks of the regular season with no Covid-19 related issues. Things have certainly changed. On the same day that four players who landed on the reserve/Covid-19 list due to proximity to tight-end Vance McDonald returned to the team, rookie offensive lineman Kevin Dotson was placed on the reserve/Covid-19 list. It's unclear if Dotson tested positive or not. If he did, there could be another wave of players knocked out due to contact tracing that puts them in proximity to Dotson.

Tough game as some strange things happen when these two meet. Rains should be over by game time. There should be strong winds and falling temps. Turnovers and mistakes could factor in as well as FG's with the wind toward the open end of the field. The Bengals are playing better. They will have to take advantage of mistakes and opportunities to win. I do not think they will but would enjoy seeing a competitive game.

Last week all the Pittsburgh Steelers heard was they were not as good as their record, and with QB Roethlisberger on the Reserve/Covid-19 list, this matchup with the Bengals was anything but a gimmie. The Steelers took all that to heart and despite a less-than-perfect game, dominated Cincinnati 36-10. The story of the game was Big Ben, after sitting at home all week and unable to workout with the team, Roethlisberger took total control of the game. He finished with 333 yards passing, four touchdown passes and once again did not turn the football over. On defense, the Steelers were too much for a rookie QB. Joe Burrow had been averaging close to 300 yards passing a game, but the Steelers held him to 213 yards and had him under duress most of the game.

Still not impressed with the Bengals play calling. The weather did effect the Bengals. The Bengals defense did play with emotion. Getting a better pass rush. Stopping the Steelers run game. Which they need to get going. Bengals have some improvement but have to be able to put it together for 4 quarters. The early turnovers put them in a hole. They also found out should have traded AJ GREEN.

Ben banged up his elbow a little but didn't bother him. At his age is how it recovers for the next week. The defense has some improvement to do. Will see what a better team can do what the Cowboys did.

The problem with the running game I think can go back to not having Mike Munchak as Offensive Line Coach. Even though it has been over a year since he has been gone. The Steelers are winning games but hard to put money on them when the weather gets bad as winter comes. Just like the Ravens game last night in the pouring rain.

The Bengals would have been better to have Munchak as head coach. Then pay a good OC good money and just concentrate on the offense. A great line coach is gold in the NFL.

With 7 games left to play maybe the Steelers could have 3 1,000 yards receives ???
