If I was Waverly I’d say to heck with Fort Frye and schedule a home and home with Clinton Massie. I think that makes much more sense for Waverly. I just seen it on the OSHAA.org “open dates”
I thought this exact thing when I seen the link for teams looking for opponents. I think it could be a good game next year but yea after I'd say Waverly would take their lumps but with 12 teams going in what better time to expand the quality of opponents you're playing. Next years SOC schedule should see some tougher games against, Burg, West, and an improved Valley team.

How many lineman does Waverly have to replace?

Yes, the Panthers will travel to Waverly week one.
I hear Waverly still has week 2 (Zane Trace opted out) and week 4 open. There was some talk of playing Massie week 4.

Love it! Will only continue to set them on the forward path for their program. Much respect.

With that schedule you can tell Waverly wants to be a “player”. Not many schools really seem willing to do this so complements to them!

Was all the new teams added this year Home and Home, 2 year deals or did any of them do longer ones??

I don't know the answer to that, assuming they are home and home.
The Unioto game was to be a home game as this past season was scheduled to be at Unioto. That would give Waverly 5 home and 5 away.
With the COVID mess they were unable to play it so before the rest of the schedule was finalized with Chillicothe and Johnstown Monroe Waverly agreed to play at Unioto.
