Tigers miss shot at the buzzer. Great game
Marietta for real or Warren just play poorly?
Warren didn't play their best game tonight, but Marietta definitely deserves credit they played well. Always a hard fought game when these two get together. Marietta hasn't played well in their first three games, so not ready to say they are for real, but if they play like they did tonight they can play with anybody. Munos, Kytta, Duckworth, Coil, and Graham are a solid starting group for Marietta, but they do lack depth which is an issue. Dennis for Warren was the difference maker late in the game, I think he finished with 23.

Shocked it was this close. Marietta apparently is better then advertised. Rival games are always tough.

6-5 Jake Baumgard was injured at the end of the 2nd quarter, went to the locker room and never returned to the bench ... a lot of uncharacteristic turnovers, poor decisions with the ball, poor shot selection ... the Warriors were settling for perimeter shots in the first half ... Marietta played a good game - shot the ball well from the perimeter - Munos is a handful with his quickness ... Seth Dennis is getting better and better - tonight he had 4 treys I believe as well as getting to the rim ... missed some FTs down the stretch BUT he showed how clutch he is and can be - taking a big time charge late in this one ... Baumgard looked good inside before he got hurt as WHS started going inside first instead of settling for outside shots ... hopefully the injury doesn't keep the big man out of the lineup for long ...

Watched the Whiteoak vs West Union on YouTube

The sophomore guard combo of Landon Barnett and Carson Emery were dominant. Barnett had around 25 snd Emery around 17.

They are a rotation of basically 7 guards and 1 forward. Not much size but quick snd athletic as can be with Nick Bailey/Barnett/Emery...3 exceptional athletes.

I remember the days Marietta would run one athlete after another at you.
