Raider,ESPN has us by the gonads.I watch as many different networks as I can.The Big Ten Network does a pretty fair job.CBS and FOX need to step it up.I remember a couple of years ago when FOX outbid ESPN for the BCS.ESPN was crying the blues for playoffs,but now the bowls are great.Seeing those rating dropings,might sway a few sponsers though.LOL!!!

The Rose Bowl was down because OSU was in it last year and it got the Buckeye rating bump. This year the Sugar Bowl was up for the same reason.
The Fiesta Bowl has a severly less compelling matchup this year, and it wasn't going to grab the casual fan.
The Orange Bowl had two good teams, without big fan bases, that don't draw casual veiwership.
The national title game should have gotten a similar rating to last year, I'd like to see an hour by hour by hour rating break down. It also suffered from having two teams with much smaller loyal followings. Texas/Bama is a much bigger group of fans.
