The Washington Football Team have released quarterback Dwayne Haskins, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported. The team later made the news official.

"This afternoon I met with Dwayne and informed him that we would be releasing him," coach Ron Rivera released in a statement. "I told him that I believe it benefits both parties that we go our separate ways. We want to thank Dwayne for his contributions these last two season and wish him well moving forward."

The former first-round pick was just demoted to third string QB.

Puttin himself first , Bone head rookie mistakes, strip club scenes, released by teams over actions ...yeah it’s pretty fair to say he’s went the same way as Johnny football....just in a different car...he will get a 2nd chance no doubt too young to not..he can Rigjt the ship for himself and change his manziel type story......up to him. He won’t miss a meal nor worry about evicted out of his home.

He has to put in the work. Be on time for mettings and practice. Which is why teams did not pick him up for the end of season. He would not learn the system to be able to help on the field.
