No BE tourney run for the Mountaineers this year.

Clemson killed UAB tonight @ Dayton so they're next up for the Mountaineers. WV's defense is 3 times better than UAB's so if they can play a little bit of offense I don't see them having a problem with the Tigers.

Raiderball,

For your sake I hope I am wrong, but I picked Clemson to beat WVU in the second round. I thought WVU didn't look very good in the BE tourney, and I figured that Clemson would have a little momentum coming off a win just two days earlier. WVU hasn't played in quite a while.

Clemson, as you know, is in the ACC. WVU will not be the toughest team the Tigers have faced this season.

Should be a good one, but don't be surprised if ...

Clemson is nowhere near the toughest team WVU has faced either. I doubt they have been beat on the way WVU will beat on them either.
I'm with fanofsports if WVU makes some shots we win.

I got WVU in this one.

Clemson could be a tough matchup for us though with their style of play.

Good win after not playing so well first 18 minutes of the game. Much better defense and rebounding from their on out.
Dalton Pepper with 3 big defensive plays in a row.

Thanks Huggy for screwing up my bracket.

This is why coaches know more than players, ay Raiderball.

Kept up with the game at work through ESPN. A wins a win but I hope they don't fall so far behind so early next game or it may be too late.

There's always next year and Huggy will be back with a solid team.

They don't have as much talent as last year (Ebanks shouldn't have left early) but I think they can win a couple games in the big dance again. Thoughts ?
They put up a pretty good fight against Kentucky for most of the game and then kind of fell off late. it looked like they had a decent chance. Yeah, Ebanks should not have gone early. However, as a Mountaineer fan I would have been grateful to get him for the time they did. He originally committed to Indiana and then left after the Sampson debacle.
