Unioto’s Isaac Little reaches the 1,000 point milestone for his career

Thanks to all who’ve reached out to congratulate Isaac!

He wasn’t blessed with size or other worldly athleticism. He’s just a grinder. He’s spent thousands and thousands of hours in the gym. Late nights and early mornings from a very young age. A lot of blood sweat and tears poured into that 1,000 pts. He’s also been blessed with great teammates and one of the best coaching staffs in the state.

This is always celebrated as an individual accomplishment but Isaac will be the first to tell you it wouldn’t be possible without his support system. Congratulations Isaac Little!

And we would’ve loved to have everyone in there. Couldn’t imagine what the irruption would’ve sounded like on that shot. But I’ll say it was as special as it could’ve been. The crowd was still awesome and the signs the cheerleaders made were special. Just a great night. Everyone was genuinely excited for him.

Congratulated Ike on the game thread already BUT thought I better jump on here and do it again ... these milestones live on forever, 1000 point club is special - means you ARE good enough to have played for 3-4 years of your high school career AT A HIGH LEVEL where you have been called upon to put the ball in the hoop - and you've done that ... the 1000 points and counting though doesn't even tell the whole story - Isaac is a player who fills up a napkin stat sheet at BOTH ends of the floor - rebounds, assists, steals, defending vs the oppositions quickest guard, bringing the ball down court vs pressure, starting the offense, having the ball in his hands to take the last shot of quarter, half, game ... the 1000 Points ? great milestone BUT if you've watched IL play over his career - the points are but a piece of the Isaac Little puzzle, a part of what he brings to TEAM ... Ike's the MVP, the POY in the SVC ... the 1000 points are icing on the cake - congratulations Isaac - pfloyd

I was hoping to at least give him some height because I have zero athletic ability. He was conceived by a woman 5’3 because she was the only one who’d lay with me. Yet here he is, the worst of both of us doing his thing.
