I think VC will win this one! I seen in another post that VC had a scrimmage with Berne Union and would be curious to hear how that went. I know it’s hard to tell in a scrimmage but that should be some sort of gauge as to how this game would be.

Ff d3 this year and state goes through hiland. Would be an interesting game in the regionals if that happens, but hiland is really good

D3 is Africentric. Top program in Ohio any division. They are like SVSM/Hoban. I remember their warmups used to be a list of their D1 athletes with “to be continued at the bottom.”

Tonight was a big win for Vinton County. I was totally impressed by both teams and both are for real. Both coaches are outstanding and could potentially go a long, long way in Divisions II and III respectively. Two great programs and systems. Good luck to both teams-I hope that they both make long, deep tournament runs.

The beauty of live stream has been a blessing in disguise this year. Getting the chance to watch Fort Frye and Vinton County compete was one of the best games I have watched in years. I was extremely impressed with fort Frye discipline and ability to shoot was amazing. I was equally impressed by Vinton County’s ability to use defense as there strength normally county is offensive minded but tonight they played great defense. Vinton County is a lot deeper then I expected bringing the Williams girl off the bench can really shoot it and Coach Bentley younger daughter is going to be a monster for them down the stretch she looks bigger on television then person. I hope that both programs continue to play each other in the years to come great for southeastern Ohio.

I would say that VC was the reason FF didn’t play well in second half, you have to give VC credit, I watched on YouTube and they played solid defense in second half. They wore Fort down and that can cause a team to struggle at the line, no energy.

Vc length is what gave ff problems. Had nothing to do with being wore down. Ff achilles heal is turning the ball over too much. Vc pushed up on them and ff isn't capable of going off the bounce. Honestly i thought vc would press more. The tempo was completely ff, but give vc credit. Did what they had to do to squeeze out a victory

South Gallia actually put one on the dogs a few days ago! And at this point I’d probably consider taking the old coach back.
