I may be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure that they do have home and home games scheduled with each other in maybe 4 or 5 years. I thought that I read this somewhere, unless I dreamed it. As of today, 1-19-2021, unless there is a change in the schedule, Ohio State will host Alabama on 9-18-2027. The following year, Alabama will host Ohio State on 9-9-2028. A lot can happen in 5-7 years, but as of right now they are scheduled for a home and home series.VetteMan wrote: Tue Jan 19, 2021 5:24 pmI may be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure that they do have home and home games scheduled with each other in maybe 4 or 5 years. Was hoping you would have gotten on the thread with us leading up to the game. Came a whisker from asking about ya. But figured I would jinx us. Hahaha. Didn’t do much good you guys were the real deal Watched a heckuva show the other night about Bama /USC 1970 football game that Bryant /McKay orchestrated. Good history. I can understand your wishes of the two blue bloods Hayes/The Bear and these programs meeting more than just in the national championship. As it appears Vetteman above laid a few scenarios out for the upcoming years.

TY for the kind words. I am looking forward to the home and home series, if I am alive then. LOL I usually post on a Bama site during the game to keep me from yelling like a blooming idiot. The USC game is classic bc Sam Cunningham, a native of Alabama could not attend UA due to his skin color. (As a child of the 60's, I grew up in all that mess. In fact, I will be teaching in our Government classes next week about the south during the civil rights movement.) Bama was a power in the 60's and had a couple of 6-5 years in 69 and 70/ Coach Bryant knew he was in for a butt kicking that game and it did more to change the face of Alabama football than any game in my lifetime. I am a proud southern but I am not proud of some of the awful things done to people of color during those days.countywide35 wrote: Wed Jan 20, 2021 5:21 amalabama mike wrote: Tue Jan 19, 2021 1:23 pm As a life long Bama fan, born and raised, I just wish these two programs would schedule some home and home series with each other. That was an awfully good show and Sam Cunningham was a man child that night. That was way before my years on this earth but loving history and the game of football it was must see for me. After studying the game and the rich history of Alabama football There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Bear Byrants intentions went way more than just scheduling USC in a football game.
