Sullinger has gotten the hell beat out of him every game this year, UK has offered nothing new in terms of physicality!
Re: NCAA TOURNY Kentucky vs Ohio ST
sullinger should have shot 30 free throws by now....and all kentucky players do is run their mouths.....

Re: NCAA TOURNY Kentucky vs Ohio ST
OSU got the same call 4-5 times in the 1st half alone. at least be real . The 5 seconds call on UK was bush. the T on the bench was very questionable.
Re: NCAA TOURNY Kentucky vs Ohio ST

Re: NCAA TOURNY Kentucky vs Ohio ST

I think "that goofy guy" played a helluva game. Ohio State didn't shoot the 3's well and that was their demise. Sullinger can dunk all night (didn't like his antics afterward) but a few of his 2nd half running/jumper/fallover to the floor shots got blocked or didn't come close. Craft played his butt off and Diebler hit a few threes. Lighty didn't show up.bronc21 wrote:and kentucky isnt getting away with murder? that goofy 55 should have fouled out in the 1st half
Re: NCAA TOURNY Kentucky vs Ohio ST
Deib couldnt shoot a three with someone holding on to his shirt all night.

I too think Buford is going to be the difference maker and said before the season started that I thought he would be in the running for BigTen POY. I still think he is the best "pro" on the team and has been the Bucks best player this year. With the way they share the ball on the outside it is hard to be the guy every night so his stats have suffered somewhat. He plays good d, rebounds well, finishes better than anyone on the team, and shoots the ball better than anyone on the team especially considering he shoots a lot of shots off the bounce and creates against defensive pressure as well as the spot up stuff. Sully is in position to make plays on every trip up and down the floor and has been very impressive and consistant but is THE guy inside so he doesn't have to share as much and has had the fortune of guys being forced to help due to penetration.
My big concern, as I stated in December, is that Craft gets in foul trouble. Perception is that he is fouling a lot even though he is really just playing smothering hard-nosed defense. Combine that with Sully getting bailed out a lot by the refs on plays that he is just wiser than the defenders, those same refs will be seeing Craft body up and will try to be consistant and fair and call fouls on perception rather than by the rules and cause tOSU problems. People have said we couldn't shoot that well again several times this year and many times this season we have shot the ball better than most teams' career best shooting night so I think we will be okay in that area. We shoot 40% from 3 on a bad night. Diebler may struggle to get his shots though, he usually struggles against long athletic guys and I am sure Coach C has seen that.
I am sick of hearing that NO team is dominant this year though. The past several years that has been the case but this year one team has been better than the rest from day one and they are still on top right now.
I beg to differ as I said in a previous post.

Did he even score? He struggled all game and couldn't throw one in the ocean from the beach.I too think Buford is going to be the difference maker and said before the season started that I thought he would be in the running for BigTen POY
