New Boston Glenwood Tigers 75
Greenup County, Ky. Musketeers 64

New Boston, the number one team in Division IV in the latest Ohio AP rankings, ventured over the river to Greenup County to take on the Musketeers in "the Greenhouse". The Musketeers, a Division equaled to our Division II in Ohio were 3-5 on the season. The Tigers had been off for 11 days.

NB led at all stops: 17-10 after one, 33-26 at the half (after the Musketeers had tied the game at 24-24 with 3:22 to go in the half), 46-39 after three and the final 75-64.

Official scoring for the Tigers: Tanner Voiers led with 29, Grady Jackson 15, Kyle Sexton 11, De'von Jones 10, Chase Clark 8 and Brady Voiers with 2.

The JV game went to Greenup Co. 58-32. Scoring for the Tigers: Rhys Bratchett 13, Josh Alley 5, Hunter Easter, Mikey McGraw, Luke Henson and Seth Perry with 3 each and Colt Maynard 2.

Next up for the Tigers is 1/29 as they travel up to Latham to tangle with the Western Indians 7-6, 4-3. Greenup County goes to Symmes Valley to face the Vikings 4-7, 4-6.

Western Pike 57

The Tigers ran into a fired up, scrappy Indian team last evening.
Western jumped out to a 7-0 start and led the entire first half. After one quarter it was Indians 20-12, at the half still Indians 37-27.
New Boston caught fire in the second half outscoring Western 50-20 to take the win. The Tigers rallied to tie the game at 39-39 at the 5:06 mark of the third period and went to to finish the 3rd at 54-45. Then the final 77-57.

New Boston goes to 15-1, 9-0 in SOC1 play, while Western falls to 7-7, 4-4 in league play.

Chase Clark 8 points, 18 rebounds and 6 blocks

Western won the JV game 46-27. Scoring for the Tigers:Kage Truitt 8, Mikey McGraw 6, Rhys Bratchett 5, Seth Perry 3, Jayse Tabor and Josiah Smith both with 2 and Hunter Easter 1.

Next up for the Tigers:
2/2 home with Green 3-8, 3-5
2/4 at Ironton St.Joe 7-3, 4-2
2/5 at Notre Dame 8-4, 4-2

Western hosts the Symmes Valley Vikings 4-7, 4-6 on Tuesday.

In the lastest release (2/1) the New Boston Glenwood Tigers remain at the number one spot in the AP Poll.

Trimble comes in at #12. Malvern from the East District is #13.

New Boston's home game with Green scheduled for this evening has been postponed. No makeup date yet. Next up for the Tigers is at Ironton St.Joe on 2/4.

The Tigers, #1 in AP poll, ventured into the "Flyer Dome" in Ironton and came away with the win. At the half it was Tigers 29-22, after three 48-30 and the final 56-46.

New Boston improves to 16-1 overall and remains undefeated at 10-0 in conference. The Flyers slip to 7-4, 4-3.

Scoring for NB: Tanner Voiers 19, Kyle Sexton 12, Grady Jackson 11, Chase Clark 7, De'von Jones 5, Brady Voiers and Kage Truitt 1 each.
Scoring for SJ: J.C. Damron 14, Matt Sheridan 9, Drew Brown 6, Jackson Rowe 5, Jimmy Mahlmeister 4, and Jared Johnson, Michael Mahlmeister, Max Weber and Jacob Salisbury with 2 each.

Next up for the Tigers is tomorrow evening at the Notre Dame Titans 9-5, 4-3. St.Joe hosts the Clay Panthers 4-13, 4-6 tomorrow night and at at home again on 2/6 to face the Western Indians 7-7, 4-4.

In Overtime!

The Tigers trailed the Titans 45-34 with 6:53 on the fourth quarter clock and rallied to tie the game at 51-51 to force overtime. Excellent effort by the Titans in the hard fought game

ND led after one at 10-8, NB led at the half 23-21, ND after three 41-24.

New Boston's Tanner Voiers tallied his 1,000 point on a basket with 24.8 to go in the third quarter. Congratulations Tanner!

The Tigers clinched at least a tie for the SOC1 crown!

NB moves to 17-1, 11-0 in conference play, while the Titans drop to 9-6, 4-4.

Notre Dame won the JV game 41-27.

Next up for the Tigers is a busy week with three games all at home. 2/9 the Minford Falcons 8-6, 7-5 in SOCII play come to the Den. 2/12 the Symmes Valley Vikings 4-8, 4-6 come to town and on 2/13 the Ironton St.Joe Flyers 7-4, 4-3 come calling.

Notre Dame is at Ashland Rose Hill Royals 1-11 on 2/8 and host the Western Indians 7-7, 4-4 on 2/12.

The New Boston Glenwood Tigers are the #1 seed in the Division IV Southeast District Tournament. The Tigers 17-1 will host the winner of #16 Symmes Valley 5-8 and #17 Eastern Pike 3-12 on 2-27 at 7:00. Symmes Valley and Eastern Pike play at SV on 2/24 at 7:00.

The New Boston Glenwood Tigers come in as the #3 team in the lastest AP Poll released today in Division IV.

Antwerp 15-1 is #1, New Madison Tri Village 20-0 is #2.

Malvern 12-2 from the East District is #12 followed by the Trimble Tomcats 11-3 in the #13 spot.

Congratulations to the Tigers and Tomcats!

The Minford Falcons came into the Den tonight and defeated the homestanding Tigers. Minford led by as much as 16 points in the second half. The Tigers cut the final score to the 7 points.

Minford improves to 11-8 overall, while the Tigers drop their second game of the year standing now at 17-2.

Next up for the Tigers is 2/12 as they host the Symmes Valley Vikings 6-8, 5-6 and on 2/13 the Ironton St.Joe Flyers 9-4, 6-3 come to the Den. The Falcons host the Northwest Mohawks on 2/12.

is there really that much of a difference between SOC1 and SOC2 or is Minford just playing better than their record?
