I have no dog in this fight. I watched most of this game and Westfall was the aggressor and played harder and made shots. I saw the game and yes there were some missed calls bothways.
Before all the technicals the fouls were 4 to 2 against Unioto I think. 6 fouls shots made off of them.

Agreed. They beat us on the glass and to every loose ball. They were a step ahead of us the entire night

I know the U fans will be all over me for this, but there seems to be a bit of a discipline issue with this team. In the 3 games i've seen, they've had 5 T's. I didn't watch the Huntington game,but did see the video of Little and Galloway's on court shoving match with each other. I know it's hard for coaches these days, because when you try to discipline a kid, they'll just run off and play at another school or their parents will jump on social media and cause even more issues. When I played for Larry Jordan, a T got you 1000 walls and a 2 game suspension. Coaches just can't do that anymore and keep their jobs.

So 15-18 miles of running for each technical? Impressive

Well, everyone was too scared to get a T, so they didn't have to worry about the punishment!

For a team or player? Cuz little only has 2. Would be his best year to date. The problem was he usually leads the team and we had a couple players and coaches ahead of him so he felt the need to catch up. He is very competitive with the technical fouls

Any player with multiple technical fouls definitely sounds like a POY candidate

2 is BARELY multiple. It’s like multiple by only 1 technical

I’m guessing if he won it this year he’d be the first player in the leagues history to accomplish such a feat with 2 technicals. Maybe at any level. Quite the trailblazer

But you know what, mlittle is right. Fighting ones own teammates is just being competitive. Arguing with the officials is just being competitive. Making excuses about losses (foul count, official personnel) is being realistic.

Quite honestly any coach that would put someone up for POY with that resume tells a lot about the coach too. #winningbeforeanything

But you know what, mlittle is right. Fighting ones own teammates is just being competitive. Arguing with the officials is just being competitive. Making excuses about losses (foul count, official personnel) is being realistic.

I joke a ton but I try to use every situation good or bad as a teaching moment for my kids. I’m not the same person in my personal life as I am on social media. I’m guessing most people aren’t. I do what I do for laughs. I know technicals and scuffles amongst teammates isn’t an ideal situation and I try to use those as learning situations for him. I’ve never ever blamed an official for a loss. I’ve been just as critical at times after wins (again, read more of my posts) but for you, an adult to be so focused on the actions of a teenager and pointing out how he doesn’t deserve this or that based off a few interactions is, well, kind of telling of your character. You sound like a guy who probably never made it off the JV team and now you prey on teenagers and hope for successful athletes to fail, Just waiting for them to screw up. Just remember all the mistakes you made when you were a teenager and ask yourself if he or any other teenager deserves to be judged under the microscope of how an adult views things. Grow up man

I’ve never said I wasn’t living through my kid. Never ever denied that. Why else do we have them? Any parent who has a kid playing sports that says they’re aren’t living through them is either lying or their kid freaking sucks at sports.
