Prayers to a wonderful person. He's been a fixture of all high school sports in the area for 40 years. Many times he gave his time and effort and never received a dime. He loves young people and he represents what is good in sports and in communities throughout our area.
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a feast

We are so blessed in the Southeast District to have a number of people that I consider friends of high school sports. Timekeepers, scorebook keepers and other workers at games and also longtime fans of some schools. Kent Sanborn was one of those people - sitting and standing in the corner - with always a pleasant word. Don't forget to say "Hello" to these people, you never know when you may not have the chance to again.
