Just an educated guess but I don't think Ohio State has to worry about playing Michigan twice a season for a long, long, long time. Anyway, I didn't want to drive to Indianapolis for the Big 10 championship this year.

Better plan your trip to Indy, cause the Bucks will be there.

Hasn't this been going for a long time at a lot of places? It is time to look at giving the athletes money in some form. The universities are making big money of them!

Has anyone else read the Ray Small article, I said a long time ago that we should have cut him loose. Never did like the D-Bag!

Word is, there will be an SI story on the OSU program come out in the coming weeks. They had a Pulitzer prize winning investigative reporter in town for a week two weeks ago, he did some major digging, and rumor is he turned up stuff that they had hoped would remain quiet. I've heard that he also got stuff on Tress dating back to YSU that had not been reported yet.

This situation is about to go from worse to worst, as it blew by bad long ago!!!

If this report does go to press, it may be the straw that break the camels back, and we will likely see the end of the Tressel Era (though I'm leaning more towards liking that) and the end of major success in football for at least 3 years!

It may be time for some "Urban Renewal!"

Who's to say Meyer was on the straight and arrow at Florida? Maybe osu needs to look somewhere else?Meyer may not be what you need to fix this...Maybe someone with a lower profile?? God knows anyone can win at osu...Maybe not everbody liked all osu coaches that won (Bruce and Cooper) but they won...

If you take a microscope to the majority of major college programs you will find dirt if you are looking for it. Maybe it is time for a good hard look at Division I college athletics.

You can find what's being uncovered at OSU at 99.9% of all colleges, be it NCAA, NAIA, or whatever size and level of the school. It's happened at Rio Grande for goodness sake!

The thing is, if you get caught, you have to take your punishment and hope the fire stops.

Edward Riffe copped a plea today:
Edward A. Rife, 26, was charged in federal court with one count of conspiracy to distribute 100 kilograms or more of marijuana and one count of money laundering involving the purchase of an Infiniti SUV. He also was ordered to forfeit $50,000 to the United States

EXPECT A "MAJOR" article to be released at noon on Tuesday on SI.com

This is the one I referenced on this thread a couple posts ago.

Allegedly there is new info on the Buckeyes and Tress. We'll see!

Yes the talking heads have won.Tressel finally tired of hearing his name drug thru the mud.Still think he's a fine person, just tried to cover for some[ so called super jock].Still think Braxton Miller is a better quarterback right now than TP.Hope they give Fickle a fair shot. He's been under Tress for nine years and is a Buckeye.Ten years ago nobody had ever heard of Urban Myer or Peterson at BOISE.I'm sure the talking heads will have a field day with coach Tressel and the Bucks today.Great thing about it , I don't have to turn the power on to the all powerfull espn or support their sponsors for that matter.

Man, I hope my wife doesnt read this stuff!!!
I think it is safe to surmise what we say on here under a relative cloak of anonymity is somewhat different than what we come across in person.

I probably came across a little strong... guess drinking and posting don't go well together sometimes... lol.

4ever, like you posted on another thread, when Tress and the OSU media continually talk about his high morals then news that he kept quiet and then lied about knowing, kind of sets him up to be attacked for what he did.
