I was eating breakfast this morning with some of my warren buddies and the rumor on the street is that Dennis is out for this game with an injury. Big blow for the warriors if this is true.

Huge news... hope it isnt true... Dennis is the heart and soul of this squad...

Agreed. My buddy heard it was an ankle sprain from practice... hoping these treacherous rumors are just that... rumors...

Hopefully these rumors about Seth are not true... but about the game I believe the warriors will march right past the colts in typical warrior fashion so far during this tournament.

Haven’t heard anything since. I’m hoping he plays. He’s a gusty player and I think will try to play if he is hurt... still hoping they are just rumors and not true

The games get tougher from here on out. I’m no expert, but Warren is playing awfully well. Hitting on all cylinders, as one would say. I haven’t seen or watched Meadowbrook all season but I bleed BLUE ..... if Warren is healthy, I’m going with WARREN in this one......One game at a time!! Stakes are high

Updates start in about 10 minutes on the update thread. We have all the finals in D2 from the 5:30 games and will also update the 3 other 8:00 D2 games.

Warren and Meadowbrook will have the hammer though.

What a heartbreaking defeat tonight, thought the officiating was pretty blatantly awful at times but Warren had a few chances down the stretch. Congratulations to the seniors on getting this far, something that had only been done once before. Warren graduates quite a bit but should have a nice group of underclassmen that will move up from JV and start varsity. We have a few good 8th graders and possibly a junior high transfer from the area at pg position going into 9th grade who would make quite the addition at the new gym.

This was an exciting game between two evenly matched programs. Congratulations on the warriors for an outstanding season. Seth Dennis played a great game and the front court was as advertised. It looked like both teams made costly errors and great plays down the stretch and this is one that could have went either way. It ended up being a classic size vs speed match up with the Colts having the shooters and Warren controlling the inside. Defense on both sides was tenacious and the coaching had a couple old timers matching wits. It seemed like the turning point was when Meadowbrook jumped into the 3/4 court press disrupting some of Ws rhythm in the third and fourth. They have seemed to switch to that against big teams all year with success. Either way great game and it looks like both programs have kids coming back. Should be fun. I think Desales is a big mountain to climb for either program.
The Colts are one of two public schools left out of the 8.
