Alan Wasonga from Parkersburg High School. Kid had crazy running back skills.

Best that I have ever personally watched was JoJo Parker from Portsmouth. He was in a class of his own. Shankweiler from Burg, and Keller from Valley deserve a mention as well. Being from the West Side, have seen some darn good ones over here. Lens and Cantrell from the State team and both Pendletons were untouchable around here. Terry Gardner was out of my time but alot of old guys will tell you he was something special. He was the first person to score a touchdown at Marshall after the crash.

When talking about running backs from West.
Bart Evans and Pete Howell was good ones.

Tommy Bowman of Notre Dame was pretty darn good in his era.
