Logan has one pitcher that is respectable (in that he can keep batters off-balance) -- and that's who they dealt against Athens. Their lead-off hitter is one of the best players in Southeast Ohio, IMO.

Athens is preparing to face Stewart again, in the first game, he threw a no hitter while recording 17K. He only walked one in 22 batters he face. It would have been a perfect game if it wasn't for that walk. The loss ended Athens long winning streak at 38-2 in a 40 game stretch in the TVC. If Meigs wins on Monday, they would most like win an outright TVC title ending Athens 4 year run on top of the league.

Athens will host Logan for senior night on Friday. First pitch is at 5:30pm.

This will also serve as the annual Sandlot night.
