Man valley is in a pickle

Yes they are, but they did it to themselves. They had a good coach that came close to going to the convo with a team that had no business doing so and they got rid of him after 2 seasons.

Now you have middle school kids transferring to Valley to play basketball for a coach that probably won't be there

Do kids have to sit the last half of the season for the 2021-22 school year? I know they gave a waiver for that rule this past school year.

I believe if you move into the district, you don’t have to sit out ? That rule was never going to work.

I believe that was a waiver for even Open Enrollment students last season because of covid. Hopefully, that ended after one year and we are back to where they sit out the last half of the season.

Covid maybe. Parents have figured a way around the transfer rules 5-6 years ago.

I have only heard of kids transferring to play baseball at Valley. Hadn’t heard about basketball.

Maybe we will get lucky and they play multiple sports. We need all the athletes we can get.

Parents and some of the board members are trying to run him out. Maybe good to try someone new.

I have only heard of kids transferring to play baseball at Valley. Hadn’t heard about basketball.

Valley's baseball kids in junior high are legit. I could see 2-3 of their 8th graders starting varsity as freshmen next year, and the 7th grade pitcher would probably be playing varsity right now if this was Kentucky. They all play other sports (including basketball), but baseball is their focus.*

I don't know which side is initiating it, but from what I was told its doubtful Norm is back at Valley.

Heard that Norm resigned this past Thursday
