It would be impossible to be .500 at the halfway mark. The closest a team could be to that would be 2-3. 5 games is the halfway point. If they are 3-2 then of course they would be over .500.
So by your estimation who would be their 2 wins out of the first 5?

Really not a huge feat considering almost everyone makes the playoffs now

Why isn't the Sandlin kid from Burg not playing football? If true, that's too bad b/c that kid is a haus and has the makings of a great QB.

He's not even playing football this year, just basketball is what I heard Portsmouth is supposed to have a pretty solid basketball team.

I believe JR Eli Jones, and IMO he would have been the QB even if Sanderlin was there.

Everyone saying Burg is going to be weak at QB but no one knows how good he is going to be.

Seems to me I remember Trent Salyers was unproven at QB going into his Junior year and that worked out pretty well for Burg that year.

Yea I would bet that he wont be a Trent Salyers, but I do think he will be better than what many think. It will be similar to that year in the sense of just getting the ball in your playmakers hands and not turning it over. If he does those things well, they will be just fine.
