Not sure how Minford pulled this off but they are hosting Piketon tomorrow night and Piketon is no longer scheduled to play River Valley

River valley canceled on Piketon around 1 or 2, Minford already open, glad they were able to play. Piketon was going to have 6 home games ,so giving up 1 home game to poay is fine. Both teams scrimmaged 2 weeks ago.

Piketon giving up a home game, Wheelersburg allowing Green to use their field until Green's field is ready and Portsmouth letting West use their field Saturday evening are just a few examples of schools helping each other

Piketon is going to win some ballgames. Defeated Minford 28-6, some bright spots for Minford D against that 5 receiver set. Falcons was inside the 10 twice but came away empty. Need to work on some things this week in preparing for a road contest at Chesapeake on the field turf.

Piketon defense stepped up big time

Good win for Piketon but Minford is really down this year so this was to be expected. Piketon might not get a real test until they take on PV, we'll see in the coming weeks for sure but this is a really nice Redstreak team and if they can build off of this defensively they'll be right there for the SVC this year.

Good win by piketon. I believe #4 Ethan Connally for minford will have a good season. He had a good game against piketon and did everything he could

Nice week one win by Piketon on the road…. It’s always good to get that week one win regardless who it’s against.

I think the SVC and SOC are down with the exception of the top 2 or 3.
SVC: Paint Valley, Piketon clear favorites with Unioto not to be discounted.
SOC: Waverly, Wheelersburg favorites with West not to be discounted.
