Usually the defense is the one struggling for the Trojans but tonight its the offense.. really curious to see how this team plays when the offense starts clicking like they usually do.

This game is not what I expected. Hopefully Portsmouth makes adjustments. Offense has done nothing and I wonder if they have positive yards. Neither can get anything going. I still think Trojans pull it out. Valley has absolutely no pass game.

14-3. Trojans made some adjustments. Valley has no pass game. It might be a long year for the Indians

Started off slow. Valley ran 6+ minutes on their first drive I believe. Portsmouth defense really stepped up though all night. Tackled well, wrapped up, and played with aggression. The 2nd half the offense really got going. I was pretty impressed with both sides of the line for the Trojans. Drew Roe had a phenomenal game. Valley didn’t have much in the way of a pass defense, Portsmouth WR’s carved them up. Solid win for the Trojans. Valley will win some games this year, but they may be a year away. Good luck to the Indians the rest of the season. Go Trojans!

Valley has to figure out the passing game. They have a 6’6 te they need to get him involved. Portsmouth was able to just stack the box all night. Valley needed to open up the playbook more the offense got way to predictable.

I really expected us to score plus 40 like I posted before, but I was more worried about our defense against a running team because our run defense has been bad so the defense was a pleasant surprise, still even with scoring 0 points in the first half we still came close to 40 , this offense should score but can the D hold up.
Good win Trojans and good luck to valley ,Crabtree will get things going

This game… wow. It was 3-0 at half and I thought it should have been 21-0 Valley.
Then the teams switched uniforms at halftime or something.

Valley had no depth. Those kids were gutted and Portsmouth’s speed wore them out. Trojans only gave up 3. Did a good job loading the box. With valley having no pass game Portsmouth knew it was running all game. Defense was fast. Offense was really fast. The west game is on next Saturday at northwest

Congrats to Portsmouth. I expected a tighter game with Valley on top, but after half could see we was in trouble. Valley will get it worked out, and will continually improve each week.

Valley has talent but very thin at depth. In the end, that’s what cost them in this one.

You can't have a passing game when you can't keep your quarterback off his rear. You either didn't see the game or have a clue what you were watching.Izladoom wrote: Thu Aug 19, 2021 10:08 pm Valley has to figure out the passing game. Valley's defense played really well until they ran out of gas. Arnett's injury Wednesday didn't help. Valley will be ok. Portsmouth is going to win 6-7 games and a playoff game or two.
