As long as Pendleton is roaming the sidelines in SEO Wheelersburg and other programs are going to struggle competing. The development in athletes and in weight room is very telling watching his teams play.

That was very noticeable during pregame Friday.

Ouch! Nearly the same spread as the varsity game was.

Burg is officially back to assuming their role as little sister in SEO

Yup. He's young and plugged into modern development. Makes a big difference.

Most of Burgs sophmores are on the Varsity squad this year they played in the varsity game and don't play jv . Burg is very young this year had to move alot of players up too varsity not like in the past but I'm not knocking Irontons performance just saying

Ironton is also young at a lot of crucial areas. They just seem to be more developed.

Hate to defend burg here but come on it’s JV. It’s nice to see success but for the smaller schools playing fresh and sophomore players at varsity it’s only a small indicator of what’s to come.

Burg got decimated at both levels.

Whats coming for Burg vs Ironton in the forseeable future is PAIN. CLUBBER LANG. lol

Can't help but take some credit for this as Kirtland has had a huge impact on Ironton after housing them last year. Looks like Ironton's coach paid heed to the articles I've posted about the Hornet program. Maybe in a few years Ironton will be on more of a level with the Hornets. Keep up the hard work Tigers and we'll see if you can catch up.

Irontons weight program is really showing on all the kids. Jv and varsity. Irontons jv kids will be pretty good when it’s time for varsity

I don't know if I would say that.
Think about it Pendleton is starting his 4th year at Ironton.
At one time Ironton was a perennial playoff participant and a threat to make a run to the state tittle.
Before Pendleton Ironton had hit bottom kids not dedicated and lack of discipline on the team.
Pendleton wasn't even Ironton's first or second choice to be Head Coach but he became the best choice for Head coach.
He came in and installed a plan of dedication and a want to win inside of these young men.
Kirtland is a great team no doubt but what Pendleton has done in the few years he has been there is nothing less than phenomenal.
But saying Kirtland has a hand in this well I think is a little strong Ironton is used to winning because of Lutz and following Lutz is a tall task indeed but Coach Pendleton has done a great job in doing so.
