Valley will be in this game. NW has some good pieces, they are being under-utilized for sure. By the way, piketon beat NW last year only 20-14 I believe. The Indians will be ready.

I would think that Piketon will win this game but if Valley is healthy enough they will compete. In other words, a Piketon win wouldn't surprise me but a Piketon blowout would. Valley seemed to find some things on offense last week and in my opinion it started up front. Nickel finished the year strong at QB last season and throws a good ball when protected, which he wasn't against Portsmouth, so once that happened Valley stretched the field and the running game worked well too. Those things all go hand in hand.

I listened to most of the Piketon and Minford game in week 1, and Gullion will be a handful. He's a good player. Valley has some good linebackers and ends, so if the secondary holds up it will give Valley a shot. Hope to see an injury free game, Valley can not afford to get anyone else hurt.

Piketon vs Paint Valley will be a great game. The #2 in the svc showed potential on offense, defense is getting there. Good luck on the SVC title chase.

Valley showed bright spots, against a very good team. However, starters need rotated. We need a strong and healthy group if playoffs are in the talks. There are quite a few athletes that can help in rotation. As long as we can stay healthy and rotate we will do well. Overall against a very formidable team we did well.

Valley controlled the clock and had 18 first downs and scored 36 points in the game. I hear stats like this and I think that's a win for Valley, but not tonight. Hats off to Piketon, they knew how to attack Valley's defense and won going away. Good luck in the SVC.

With Valley having 18 first downs and 36 points it looks like it didn't help much. However with Piketon scoring 62 points could throw off some things as the defense would've been on the field a lot. Defense was on the field the majority of the night. They played better than score indicates. A lot of positives from defense this week. Watch the game and you will see what I mean.

Defense played well I thought. Valleys last score as time expired was against a majority of subs. Still things to get better on but all in all I feel we are much better than years past. Without watching the film I am guessing time of possession was around 36-12 in favor of Valley. Valley has a lot of nice playmakers and will only get better. Good luck to them the rest of the year.
