If the Trojans can get the W on the road next week they likely walk into Fairland undefeated. Keeping my fingers crossed would make for an exciting season in the OVC

Man, the Trojans are really clicking on both sides of the ball. They are forcing turnovers all over the place and really have an improved line and skill players that will be hard for most teams to match.

So excited to see what this team is capable of against tougher competition. Gallia will be a step in that direction then Fairland & Ironton will be the real test. All away games but luckily none of them are back to back. Schedule lines up in the Trojans favor.

As an Ironton fan I think an undefeated Portsmouth at the end of the season to decide the conference vs Ironton sounds pretty big.

Sounds like the perfect way to end the regular season with both teams looking to show what they can do post-season! The OVC so far is looking to have at least 3 solid teams this year.

Be a real nostalgic finish to the reg season for sure. Rooting on the Trojans going forward. Would really enjoy seeing another meaningful installment of the rivalry. ( THE GAME)

Weird stat of the week. The last time Portsmouth and Notre Dame started 4-0 was 2000. They both finished 10-0 that season.

I was at that game I wanna say it was 33-31 something like that. Gallia always plays Portsmouth tough and it being at gallia expect a soaked field. They really need that win to help a possible home playoff game

Congrats Trojans on your 4-0 start to begin the season. You very well might be the surprise team of all of SEO so far this season.

They were pretty even, Rock Hills backs might have been a little harder to bring down at times. The problem they had is that they were almost completely one dimensional.

The Hankins kid was really hard to bring down. I think that kid has been starting since he was a freshman. Not sure if I’m 100% correct on this stat, but if I am, I’m shocked. I don’t believe the Trojans have allowed a rushing TD yet this season? Valley had a FG, west scored 7 and it was on a busted pass play, Deer park returned 3 kicks and then scored through the air, all the Johnson kid, and last night RH scored on a little pass to the TE. So unless I’m missing something the Trojans haven’t given up a rushing TD through 4 games, that’s a bit impressive.

Congratulations Trojans on a 4-0 start!! Portsmouth is playing well on both sides of the ball. There is no fluke about this team......they still haven't allowed a rushing TD so far, and the offense through these 4 games has proven that they can score in many different ways. Hopefully our Trojans will keep doing what they're doing, because if they do, more good things are ahead.

GO TROJANS!!

Portsmouth defense "starters" has gave up 24 points in 4 games ,has not allowed a rushing touchdown, even though its not been the toughest part of the schedule still impressive, especially after giving up a average of 34 ppg last season......Defense has really stepped up and they have a couple big hitters!!!.

Like posted above the Gallia game is big ,I believe we have to beat either Gallia Ironton or Fairland to have a chance at 8 wins.

I honestly believe we are capable of playing with anyone on the schedule if our defense holds up
