With the way teams are canceling on Waverly this shouldn’t be hard. Wishful thinking I know but with 2 of the areas best passing attacks it would be a very fun game to watch.

That would require piketon to have a cancellation but I don’t see that happening.
Both offenses are very good, but I think Waverly has a much better D then Piketon.

Piketon ran away from this game bc they were tired of being 0-1 every year. Should’ve moved the game to week 10 would’ve been nice or move it to the last non conf game but alas

Trying to contact them now. What stops every team from blackballing say Waverly? Honestly Waverly could finish the season 3-0, miss out on the playoffs or get an incredibly low seed. What stops Waverly from not playing Burg? Waverly will be heavily favored in every game besides that one, what if they say, we are out? Ridiculous!

Why didn’t they come up with a criteria?
A % of COVID cases among the team, the school, the district, etc.
What does it matter how many students you have quarantined? Actual cases is what should matter for a team to cancel on you. Now, if half your team is quarantined and can’t play that’s different - that justifies you cancelling to play - I just don’t see how it works in reverse.

Be a lot of offensive firepower on the field that’s for sure and fun to watch. Ultimately Waverly’s defense way better than Piketon’s if they were to play.

Big gap in talent too. But seeing the offense would definitely be worth it.
