Gallia sounds like they have issues with covid, health department, kids out. Cancelled on Portsmouth so this game could very well not be happening. If so I’ll take fairland by a slim margin.

My gut tells me there is a 50/50 chance for this game to be played. The numbers are really low this year at Gallia, I have no idea how many healthy players we have available. Also have no idea on our injury or covid status. Would like to know what criteria the health department used when cancelling last weeks game? I just get the feeling that something is going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of... Imagine that.....lol...

We most not be watching the same teams or coaching staff i see plenty of emotions. i see plenty of coaches getting into players faces. This team has one loss. To what people called a bad point pleasant team that is 3-1 and will probably finish like 8-2. I get you don't like our coaches and you think they suck you make that apparent every time you can. That is your opinion and your entitle to it.
This is about the same level of talent gallia has had most years for the last 10 years. Just because you have fast kids does not make them hugely talented football players. On defense we have two athletic linebackers but neither one of them are probably in the best 10 we have had at those positions in last 10 years. And if you made a team of players off kids we have had in last 10 years. Clary and franklin are probably the only two off this team that would get any playing time at least in this point of their careers.
Not saying this team isn't fairly talented but gallia had some teams that went 1-9 or 2-8 that players would play before some of these kids played as far as talent goes.

Your right, I’m all wrong SVAC83. I apologize. Not sure what I have been thinking. I guess I have just let all the talk I hear from other parents/texts and people watching the games get to me. I will keep my opinions to myself and look for the silver lining in our football program.

I love hearing 2 different opinions and I respect both. As far as this weeks game goes, I hope whoever wants to cancel does it by Tuesday evening, that makes it easier to schedule replacement games..

Two different people thought it was important enough to tell me that there was no truth to the statement that I wrote here. I apologize that what I wrote here had no merits or facts. Guess I should not post things until I hear some confirmation they are truesuperblue wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 9:10 am My gut tells me there is a 50/50 chance for this game to be played. I could be as wrong as you. I have no idea. I set in the stands and hear the same conversations some of them from people I think know a lot about football. I heard some of those same people in 2012 and 2018 about how bad we were and we were headed the wrong way. By the end of season they were like they never said it.MR305 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 10:40 am Your right, I’m all wrong SVAC83. I apologize. Not sure what I have been thinking. Those people were right in 2013 through 2016. I am not saying we have all the right coaches. And that maybe a coach hasn’t lost their fire. But when I am setting 3 rows from the press box and I can here the upset language coming out of it. I se another side. When I see a coach holding a players face mask getting into his fac during a timeout. I swear different side.
I like our coaches cane you don’t that is fine that is what makes Gallia academy Gallia academy.
I respect your point of view I just don’t agree/.

And as far as the talent goes as long as I have been a SEOPS member every year or everyother year this is the most talented team we have had in years. I think I have been here since like 2009 under one name or another.
Not that I change who I am by my first user name had my name in it and I got tired of when me and my wife were trying to watch our kids people would bug me about my post. Then I posted under SEOAL 83 then when site changed locations I didn’t know you could reuse a old name and never fixed it.
