Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
Thanks for the compliment 83....lol.... My last kid graduated Gallia in 2002.. the athletic fee was around 85$ if I remember right. What are the fees now?
Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
I want to say the last athletic fee I paid was $120 but it may of been $110.

Covid spread is due to lack of responsibility as a community. Southern ohio has high infect rates, low vac rates. The negligence is on the adults. They set the standard of expectation.Dragonsbreath12 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:37 am I feel even worse for the Fairland kids than I do Gallia. They’re doing the right thing, masking up. Doing everything they can to prevent covid, practicing hard all week to get games taken away from them. 3 games canceled in a season just shows the lack of discipline and selfishness of some of these kids that are spreading covid.
I hope the dragons can find a replacement but with only 2-3 days to get ready for a team it isn’t likely.

So the northern ohio teams in counties that have 60% vaccination rates and they are missing games because of covid?TigerTalez wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 4:49 pmCovid spread is due to lack of responsibility as a community. On the adults. They set the standard in their communities. Selfish adults = poor results.svac83 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 4:53 pmSo the northern ohio teams in counties that have 60% vaccination rates and they are missing games because of covid?TigerTalez wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 4:49 pmCovid spread is due to lack of responsibility as a community. Have always respected gahs I hate this for the kids and coaches and also the fans good luck.
Also good luck to Fairland in maybe finding a fill in game ,this is not what no one was wanting on either side so no one's to blame imo things today are a struggle

No luck for Fairland finding a game yet? If not hopefully they will by tomorrow morning. Seems the teams who dont find a game before Wednesday evening just sit for the week.

They haven’t found one yet as far as I know but they’re looking. I’d hate to see them sit another week.SciotoCfootball wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:26 pm No luck for Fairland finding a game yet? symmes valley is open and shadyside maybe they can get a game with one of these two

You're not allowed to consider that. It doesn't fit the narrative.svac83 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 4:53 pmSo the northern ohio teams in counties that have 60% vaccination rates and they are missing games because of covid?TigerTalez wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 4:49 pmCovid spread is due to lack of responsibility as a community. Symmes Valley is playing Huntington Ross Saturday at home 3pm
Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
what do you mean by that? your blaming someone for a COVID outbreak or am i missing something?
Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
Evidently.. Fairland contacted Symmes Valley about a game.. Symmes Valley declined. Fairland then evidently had a game lined up with East Canton and the Symmes Valley AD/Coach called East Canton and convinced them Fairland was too good and they wouldn’t get anything out of playing the game. So East Canton then declined after that.
Fairland has evidently contacts over 35 schools and can’t get a game.

Maybe the 35 schools fairland is contacting are d7 schools like symmes valley. Fairland is good but not a world beater.
