Re: Wk 7: Fort Frye (6-0) vs Lima Central Catholic (5-1)
If Da Fort can shut down or at least limit the pass game, I like FF in this one. I’ll take a shot in the dark and say
FF - 36
CC - 21
FF - 36
CC - 21

Re: Wk 7: Fort Frye (6-0) vs Lima Central Catholic (5-1)
FF can win this game if they can pressure the QB and not give up big plays. Cambridge played LCC last year when they had Shaun Thomas and more firepower. Too many big plays..it was impressive. However, their OL/DL were lazy and slow. Big plays made up for the line play last year. FF won't be lazy!

Fort Line on both sides of the ball is its strengthBobcatQB wrote: Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:32 am FF can win this game if they can pressure the QB and not give up big plays. There you go..limit big plays and play physical/aggressive upfront.EasternDspy wrote: Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:30 amFort Line on both sides of the ball is its strengthBobcatQB wrote: Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:32 am FF can win this game if they can pressure the QB and not give up big plays. Newark Catholic is better than Trimble, much betterttomcat 80 wrote: Sun Sep 26, 2021 5:49 pm Should be a good game.As a Trimble fan we new we had to be on our A game.Good luck to our south eastern Ohio D-6 team.Still believe Fort Frye are still the best in their division and Trimble in D7

Lima CC is the closest thing the Cadets will see to West Jefferson all season. LCC is so fast.

I think Trimble must have shown a package Fort Frye hadn't seen on film. Fort Frye is going to be better prepped for LCC's passing game this week. Hoping that makes the difference

We did replace all DBs from last year. Getting Braxton Brown back helps. Cadets will play more DBs this week instead of running the base 4-4.efarns wrote: Wed Sep 29, 2021 12:17 pm I think Trimble must have shown a package Fort Frye hadn't seen on film. I still impressed with Fort Frye win over Zanesville. They were really good. Smoked Heath and beat Licking Valley last 2 weeks. Jordan Martin is the best player I’ve seen play this year.

Shout out to Eli Johnson he’s leading the team in tackles doesn’t get enough credit. 46 tackles this season with like 12 for loss.

As the weekend is fast approaching, what is the injury situation with the Cadets? Will any of their walking wounded be able to play in this game?

I think everyone is back but FB Colin Welsh. Earliest he could be back is playoffs. Might have one other defensive player out. They are slowly getting healthier.VetteMan wrote: Wed Sep 29, 2021 10:37 pm As the weekend is fast approaching, what is the injury situation with the Cadets? Let's hope that is true. I'm hearing conflicting reports. Even if they do play, they're not close to 100%EasternDspy wrote: Wed Sep 29, 2021 10:52 pmI think everyone is back but FB Colin Welsh.
