Nelsonville-York leads the series 45-2-1.
Alexander’s wins was in 2009 (21-0) and 2015 (36-0). The tie occurred in 1974 (0-0). This series is one of the most lopsided in all of the state.

Think I’m making the journey across the hill to watch that one. One game at a time though,
NY - 42
Alexander - 12

Spartans are down big time, the Buckeyes can pretty much name the score.

I was surprised Alex lost that bad to RV. Hopefully they can get it turned around.

The only thing that could possibly slow down the running clock in this would be the officials. Aside from that the runner will be on. NY is on a roll and will be just way too much for Alex and there is still no love lost here. Arnie made sure of that before he left to spend more time with his son, I mean to take a coaching job at a different school.

LMAO yea he left to spend time with his son but he left out the part that the time he would be spending with his son would be while he was coaching and his son playing at school up north.Pitstop Billy wrote: Mon Oct 04, 2021 2:40 pm The only thing that could possibly slow down the running clock in this would be the officials. First game played in two years. Due to the COVID shortened season, each TVC OHIO team last year did not play one league game. For NY and Alexander, this was that game. It interrupted 48 straight years of playing each other.

Game day! Can’t believe it’s week 8 already. Hopefully both teams can get out of this one injury free.
Go Bucks!

Hate to see how far the once proud Alexander program has fallen over the past several years. At one time when we had the "Army" they feared no team. Now they can't beat anyone with a winning record. Tonight will probably be no different.
Alexander - 0
That team to the North - 30

I have heard that my boy Yogi got his old crew back together to do tonights game. If that is in fact the case I will have to adjust my prediction a bit as this one will be much closer than expected.
