Wa=en down 21-0, 8 minutes left in 1st qtr. Warren self destruction. 1 int. 1 fumble, 2 unsportsmanlike penalties.

Honest to god, I don’t know if it’s possible to start a game worse than we have.

35-10 in the fourth. Dont think we could have played a worse football game than what we put on tonight. Disappointing for sure especially on senior night. Gotta come back next week focused. GO BLUE as always.
Re: WK 8: Warren (3-4) v. Cambridge (4-3)
Disappointing performance tonight to say the least. We looked our age (young) and played about as bad as a team can play in the first half. Pretty good recipe for a loss. Williams turned in another solid game when he got the ball, which wasn’t enough even though we were behind.

Surprised at the margin of victory. Warren not very good. Cambridge is solid. Where did most of the good football go at these mid range schools. Good luck going forward.

Well when you play as bad a first half as we did, scores tend to look like that. They’re not 42-10 better than us, if we play them 10 times it’s probably even. Funny how you hop on every thread we lose to put down football, but are strangely quiet when we win. It’s easy to sit back and make blanket statements like you do when you aren’t around the programs at the school.E High wrote: Sat Oct 09, 2021 12:12 am Surprised at the margin of victory. No. I just tell like it is. You are what your record says you are (3-5). These teams are not even. Good luck going forward. Again, my point is, many, many average to below average teams across the state. State of football and basketball has changed for many reasons over the last 6-7 years. Again, good luck to all.

You lost to Morgan..we are not even. We ran the ball 56 times and the same play 25 times and you couldn’t stop it. Agreed, that first quarter killed you.beg003 wrote: Sat Oct 09, 2021 1:01 amWell when you play as bad a first half as we did, scores tend to look like that. Morgan loss is bad, no arguing that. We looked like a complete different team than the week before when we played a Vinton team who is very similar to you guys. We were due for a blow up game with how young we are and this was it.BobcatQB wrote: Sat Oct 09, 2021 2:26 pmYou lost to Morgan..we are not even. Right, I forgot we’re nothing but a basketball school and shouldn’t be optimistic about continuing to improve our football program. Silly me.E High wrote: Sat Oct 09, 2021 2:05 pm No. I just tell like it is. You are what your record says you are (3-5). These teams are not even. Good luck going forward. Basketball is king at Warren. Hopefully football improves.A 4-6 season and a playoff berth would be solid. I’m rooting for you you, believe it or not. Until Warren establishes a solid, consistent program, you’ll just have to accept reality. Good luck

How many yards did the Williams boy have in this one? Was he fully heathy? I know he got banged up in the VC game.

Williams ran it 22 times for 126. He’s at 1169 yards on only 127 carries this year. And to answer your question, he appeared 100%.Dundas wrote: Sun Oct 10, 2021 8:03 pm How many yards did the Williams boy have in this one? Was he fully heathy? I know he got banged up in the VC game.

Another solid performance by the RB. Good to hear he is fine after the VC game. Definitely a special player and a will probably own just about every rushing record Warren has by the time he is finished.beg003 wrote: Sun Oct 10, 2021 8:09 pmWilliams ran it 22 times for 126. He’s well on his way, I believe. Appreciate the kind words.Dundas wrote: Sun Oct 10, 2021 9:04 pmAnother solid performance by the RB. Good to hear he is fine after the VC game.
