Yes, Tri Valley, Ironton, Western Brown, Wheelersburg all nicely better than Chillicothe. We are battle tested for this matchup……not for competing in the D1 playoffs, but yes they are battle tested.Jimbob2023 wrote: Wed Oct 20, 2021 6:01 pmBattle tested?oldschoolqb13 wrote: Wed Oct 20, 2021 11:00 am Don't see the upset this year...Ironmen are battle-tested! I don’t hate Jackson. I like the DQ, Rowdy’s, Cardos, Franklin Valley GC, Michael’s, Sonic, Geiger Brothers and Jackson county veals.
Re: Week 10 Chillicothe at Jackson
Man I hope Jackson doesn’t give up 28…..doesn’t feel right for sure
Re: Week 10 Chillicothe at Jackson
You're joking right?? 8-1 Ironton, 7-1 Tri-Valley, 7-2 Western Brown and 6-3 Wheelersburg, add in a D2 Logan squad and that was their non-conference schedule so it's pretty obvious they're battled tested from that standpoint. I mean if they're not battle tested then Chillicothe doesn't stand a chance as their schedule shows they're not battle tested.Jimbob2023 wrote: Wed Oct 20, 2021 6:01 pmBattle tested?oldschoolqb13 wrote: Wed Oct 20, 2021 11:00 am Don't see the upset this year...Ironmen are battle-tested! Not sure how I missed this post but wut? Lol. That is so random. First off Sonic? How in the world did Geiger Bros crack this illustrious list? Michael’s, veals and Cardos are right up my alley though.Vik wrote: Wed Oct 20, 2021 8:23 pmI don’t hate Jackson. OK, I was wondering what in the hel@ it takes to be battle-tested around here? If playing Burg, Ironton, Western Brown, and Tri-Valley doesn't qualify, then nobody in this area is ever prepared. Cavs are in for a beat-down (same thing we would have done to you)!!

If the Cavs can keep this game to 4 tds or less, that's a win in my book....
Re: Week 10 Chillicothe at Jackson
LOL, might be the only book it's considered a win in. It's week 10 and if the best moral victory a team can get is keeping it within 4 tds that's pretty low standards.MadeInRossCounty wrote: Fri Oct 22, 2021 11:36 am If the Cavs can keep this game to 4 tds or less, that's a win in my book....

It shouldn't be the standard, but unfortunately this year it is. I can only go off by what standard they have played all season long. Lol.greygoose wrote: Fri Oct 22, 2021 1:26 pmLOL, might be the only book it's considered a win in. I don't think this will age well.Ohio1234 wrote: Tue Oct 19, 2021 9:25 am As a Chillicothe fan I will say that Chillicothe has no offensive identity has been the case all season Chillicothe has 3 serviceable running backs a great TE and one receiver that can beat jackson over the top QB play has been inconsistent but he does have a good arm. But Mccory and Lee will be the best linebackers jackson has faced and they both can cover and play sideline to sideline and chillicothe’s pass defense will be one of the best jackson has played as well. It’s upfront that I don’t think chilli can hang on either side of the ball, but Chillicothe and jackson have been playing each other since peewee and if the coaching staff can create a game plan to pressure and muddy this game up for jackson it’s a very winnable game for Chillicothe I’ll take the upset 21-20
