I said what I said. Watched Williamstown and Warren and Fort Frye vs Warren. I’ll give you the 200 yards, that’s probably an exaggeration. No disrespect to Williamstown, they’re a great program. But, if they went to Trimble and put a 40-spot on them, it won’t be much different in this game. Could be wrong, but Fort Frye is for real, especially on defense.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:15 pmImmensely better? Obviously you haven’t watched the Jackets play this year. Take away 4 turnovers against Waterford and they are undefeated. Not too many teams go into Williamstown and smack them around. Should be a good game and Fort Frye should win with their experience. But by no means will they win big and/or hold the Jackets under 200 yards of offense.
WK 10: Fort Frye (7-1) @ Williamstown (6-1)

These 2 played last season and it was 42-7. Yellow jackets better show some kind of pass game because they are not running the ball on Cadets DL. Williamstown is good but they are not even close to one of the better teams on Fort Frye schedule. Heck they beat Waterford 39-12 the week after they beat Williamstown.
Re: WK 10: Fort Frye (7-1) @ Williamstown (6-1)
Could see this one being close for a quarter and a half but ultimately the Cadets pull away and cruise to an easy win.

I hope you're right. Going off of last year's game, I'm expecting Fort Frye to win this going away, but I hope you're right and it's a good game. Williamstown is one of the few schools in the area that is a similar size to Fort Frye. I hope they can step up and make it a game.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:15 pmImmensely better? It's in WV so you can expect some creative officiating for sure. Prolly make the game closer that it would be otherwise.efarns wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 10:56 amI hope you're right. Hurting the feelings of the nadless wonders who are afraid to comment before the games.

Williamstown taking a wait and see approach on renewing. They have a contract. Eric may have to try and get this within 2 to 3 scores so they'll renew

It’s sad it has to be like that.

If only Marietta would schedule the Cadets. Never made sense to me as to why those two teams don't play...EasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 3:33 pmIt’s sad it has to be like that.

It might make a little more sense to you if you watch the Marietta/Warren game this Friday. It’s a matchup I personally would love to see happen, but given the current state of our program it makes no sense. We can’t even beat Shenandoah.bigblue52 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 8:00 pmIf only Marietta would schedule the Cadets. Never made sense to me as to why those two teams don't play...
Re: WK 10: Fort Frye (7-1) @ Williamstown (6-1)
In all due respect, Marietta needs to schedule wins. Close location, but does neither team much good to play ,outside of a decent gate.
Re: WK 10: Fort Frye (7-1) @ Williamstown (6-1)
If Marietta can’t beat D6 2-6 Shenandoah or D7 5-4 River(who lost to Warren by 30), how far they gonna have to go to schedule wins.
Re: WK 10: Fort Frye (7-1) @ Williamstown (6-1)
My thoughts are if you're going to get beat you might as well make some money off of it. Ff offered to come to Marietta for every game. After Warren it would be the biggest crowd Marietta would get. Hell, it might be biggerpioneer19 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 8:53 pmIt might make a little more sense to you if you watch the Marietta/Warren game this Friday. Re: WK 10: Fort Frye (7-1) @ Williamstown (6-1)
I agree. Warren v Fort Frye will be a terrific gate for both schools for years to come and I don't see Warren taking Fort Frye off the schedule anytime soon. At least I hope not...Ff3233 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 9:20 amMy thoughts are if you're going to get beat you might as well make some money off of it. Ff offered to come to Marietta for every game. Williamstown will play anyone. It’s definitely not like that. As a matter of fact, Williamstown wants to reschedule Fort Frye. They start seven sophomores now so where will theyEasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 3:33 pmIt’s sad it has to be like that.
be in two years. Definitely not afraid to play the Cadets.

I understand what you are saying and agree that Marietta/Fort Frye would attract a big crowd, but wow would it be an ugly game to watch. I would love to see it down the road if Marietta ever gets things turned around, but until then…just don’t think it benefits either team, money aside.Ff3233 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 9:20 amMy thoughts are if you're going to get beat you might as well make some money off of it. Than why did they say they’d wait and see. We would love to play them every year regardless who wins.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 3:02 pmWilliamstown will play anyone.
