Wk 10: Nelsonville-York (6-3) @ Athens (3-6)
Re: Wk 10: Nelsonville-York (6-3) @ Athens (3-6)
Lemme tell ya, my gut tells me to pick Athens, but I gotta roll with Nelsonville in this battle. Gonna be one helluva ballgame though no doubt about it folks!

Not as close as I thought it would be. NY must have ate Athens QB at the tailgate.

Yeah.... 41-6 I think the score speaks for itself.Older bird wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 5:46 pmI don’t think u been watching games if u think QB is only weapon. I’m not going to comment on Athens D, but this Friday will b the best athletes NY has seen as a whole since week 3. This game is closer than all the SEOP experts thinkOmaha wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 9:42 am Athens is in the TVC and that won't change. People are going to have to learn to deal with it.
The only weapon Athens has is their QB. He's a very good athlete. He will have some success but as a team I don't think they will be able to stop the Buckeyes run game. I'm not sure they can stop the passing game either. It is a rivalry game so I'm sure the Bulldogs will come out fired up Friday night. Athens will need some kids to really step up this week if they want to have any chance to be in the game in the 4th quarter.
Athens 35-34.

Athens is not a very good football team. Maybe in a few years they can rebuild.

Nelsonville won. Athens lost.
I picked wrong on a public forum, the sun came up on Sat. Really didn’t think my pick warranted an apology or acknowledgment.
I guess I’m sorry I hurt ur feelings by thinking Athens could pull upset. Yea u got a response out of me so good job trolling. U win.
