ThanksOmega wrote: ↑Fri Oct 22, 2021 4:59 amThe irony would be Waverly playing WCH in the playoffs after WCH cancelled their regular season game against the Tigers back in week 5. The presumed reason was covid-19 spread within the Waverly community but there were counter claims that WCH was simply ducking the then heavily favored Tigers.tigercat74 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 4:17 pmWhat would be the irony? New to this site. Thanks in advance.Omega wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 10:46 pm Using the week nine point totals, #4 Waverly would host #13
Washington(CH). It those rankings hold up after week ten, there would be some irony in that matchup.

As to Oak Hill, no injuries, fundamentals, and building depth should be Waverly's focus.
The playoff seedings will obviously change after week 10, so honestly the Waverly-WCH matchup is not likely.

Re: Week 10 Waverly at Oak Hill
Piketon maybe but why would Unioto move from the comforts of the SVC where they are the largest school, in many cases 2x bigger? They would also be changing their average trip from 20 miles round-trip to 100 miles.greygoose wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 6:44 pm No they probably wouldn't, the SVC teams are so set in their ways even though a move could help they wouldn't. They're simply content with playing average non league games and winning the SVC when in most years it's a 2 team race. This year it was piketon and the rest was just baaad.
Re: Week 10 Waverly at Oak Hill
None of them would move, Unioto needs out based on that exact reason being that much larger than all other SVC schools. Just 2 years ago Unioto was moved up to DIII, again it's not as if any of this is happening and the drives are very simple for each school. SVC is working it's way downward and honestly needs to make some type of move it's a conference of 8 teams where 1-2 teams have to carry the banner each year. Unioto would be more likely to move than Piketon would.Shoedaddy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 22, 2021 8:39 amPiketon maybe but why would Unioto move from the comforts of the SVC where they are the largest school, in many cases 2x bigger? Re: Week 10 Waverly at Oak Hill
Just depends how long the starters stay in…..
Love to see a Futhey to Futhey hook up several times for the last regular season game for both.
Re: Week 10 Waverly at Oak Hill
I am not opposed to that. Was originally thinking it’d be more, but they’ll want to get the clock running as quick as possible and get the young guys reps
