AC got shellshocked last week by Fairfield Union at home. Lost the Time Of Possession battle 10mins to 38mins. Now, yes, FU runs an offense practically no one else runs but still.

For some reason AC hasn’t fared too well at “The Pit” this season.

All depends on what Minford shows up really. The team that was a few plays away from beating Burg or the one that played Waverly and got walloped. I get the conditions weren’t good for that game but Waverly made the most of it in them

Just curious, what offense does Fairfield Union run?

It's this bucket of fun, the Single-Wing (as ran by Denison under legendary coach Keith Piper.)

A very winnable game for the Falcons. Minford by a TD (21-14).

Minford wins as long as the don't have the turnover bug.

Looking forward to making the 90 minute trip over to Amanda to take in this game. Best of luck to the Minford Falcons.

A-C will create a lot of mismatches for Minford. A-C has height and size in the wideout positions. They will try to spread out Minford and get the ball to those big bodies on the perimeter against undersized DBs and then take shots down the field in the seam. Their running game is average at best because the line is not great but the QB is athletic and can make things happen with his feet. A-C should win this because they'll be the more athletic team and will have home field advantage.

Should be a beautiful drive this time of year...used to drive out Route 159 regularly for work right by Amanda Clearcreek High School. Will be rooting for the Falcons to keep their season alive. Win or lose, Ruby has done a great job with his team this year*

AC best win is beating D3 Jonathan Alder plus wins over Liberty Union and a D3 Hamilton Township team. Also played two D2 schools, and five D4 schools. Played only one similar size d5 school. They do have a puzzling loss to FU last week. Otw losses are D2 schools and Bloom Carroll.

Minford best win is Portsmouth West ? and their close loss to Wheelersburg.

Minford only losses come from undefeated Piketon and a very good Wheelersburg and Waverly.

I say AC wins this game even though they seem a bit inconsistent but it wouldn’t shock me if minford wins but I’ll say 31-21 AC

no competition don't gotta compete, I'm already winning this isn't defeat 😵

Minford has the height to cover those mismatches you are hoping for. They did a good job covering the Waverly wide receivers. Who I’d go out on a limb and say are bigger mismatches to worry about.

AC will need a stopper at LB for Minford Qb. Guy is an animal and runs downhill. Not familiar with AC at all.

Minford is a good team and can play with anyone. Hopefully they show up ready.

No way Minford has the size to match up. A-C has three guys on the outside that are 6-2 or 6-3. And they’re probably three of the most athletic guys on the team. If the QB can get it to them, game over, season over for Minford.

Have you watched any film to make that claim? Or Minford in Person?

Not afraid to go out on a very sturdy strong limb here and say they have faced better receivers already. Waverly’s top 2 receivers are 6’4 and 6’5 and are extremely athletic. Futhey is easily the top receiver in the area with Morrison having better numbers but really good in his own right. Minford put size on both of them are at least up to the task of not letting it kill them. Waverly’s aren’t just tall. Defenses all year have tried to defend and don’t do that well. Minford also has some big DEs to knock some passes down. Minford has seen better in that respect. If Minford can get pressure AC will be forced into a few turnovers with that level of thinking.
