Meadowbrook 64 Vinton County 34 2021 Playoffs

Post by Dundas »

First ever meeting on the gridiron between these two. Meadowbrook looks to have a pretty impressive offense. Vinton County’s defense will have their hands full this Friday night as they face what will most likely be the best offensive team they’ve seen all year. The Viking defense has given up an average of 13.2 points per game this season with 3 shutouts while the Colts offense averages 36.8 ppg.

Meadowbrook has it all on offense. Can’t see VC winning this one. Tough draw.

Why is the #11 playing the #7?

Meadowbrook is the #6 seed.

I see them blowing out Vinton County.

No one has blown out VC yet this year. Why do you think the Colts will take it to VC? I know they have a nice senior QB and their RB is legit. Small but quick.

Common opponent in Crooksville.

Meadowbrook v Morgan, Morgan v Warren, Warren v Vinton County.

I've been wrong before and I will be wrong again, but I see this as a running clock.

The only way VC keeps this close or has a chance to pull off a win is to keep our offense on the field and sustain long drives and and capitalize with no mistakes. Yes we’ve had 3 shutouts this year but against horrible opponents that are not in the same category as what we’ll see Friday. We’ve faced one really good RB this year and he rushed for 260. Meadowbrook’s offense is going to get theirs, we just need to keep them off the field making our offense our best defense.

Respectfully speaking can't see this one close. Common opponents show VC beating Crooksville by 20. Meadowbrook was finished with Crooksville by halftime and could have hung 80 on them. VV lost to Warren by 16, Cambridge smoked Warren, Meadowbrook beat Cambridge in a close one but was never really stopped after the first quarter by Cambridge. Meadowbrook has a trio of receivers with speed, one being 6-5. They have two quick backs and a good QB with size who can run. The only chance VC will have if they can create turnovers and like the previous posts said keep Meadowbrook off the field. Also the colts always seem to start slow and then will drop 21 on you in a hurry so it would have to be a 60 minute game.

This is another chance to see a running clock in round 1. Meadowbrook is the pick.

Ugly early and often. Colts big. VC defense won't have an answer, and their offense will have no production. good season for the vikes but it ends friday in a running clock

Big opportunity for Vinton County to prove people wrong and beat a good team.
