Fort Frye is finally getting healthy and is prepared for playoffs by playing a difficult schedule.

Yea but if you want to convince Dundas84 you better beat them by 50 or they'll think Athens and VC could beat FF.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 12:57 pm Nelsonville being a run team plays perfectly into what Fort Frye wants to do.

NY is playing with house money now. After staring out 0-3 pretty much everyone wrote them off for dead. No doubt they'll make it a game though. Playing tough right now.

They are going to lose by a few touchdown or more. Is that "making it a game?"Savin Davey wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 3:20 pm NY is playing with house money now. After staring out 0-3 pretty much everyone wrote them off for dead. No doubt they'll make it a game though. Playing tough right now.

I think it will be close until after halftime and Fort will start to show why they can’t get voted into a league jk jk. I say Fort Frye 38
Nelsonville 17
Nelsonville 17
no competition don't gotta compete, I'm already winning this isn't defeat

Not sure what you expect from ny fans would you rather they say we have no chance might as well not even play the game ?efarns wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 5:08 pmThey are going to lose by a few touchdown or more. Anyone who knows anything about high school football would not have written NY off for dead after starting 0-3. Look at who they played in those three games.
NY plays a tough non league schedule and when they don’t win some of those games, it still makes them a better team, which is why NY has won nearly 50% of all TVC/TVC Ohio football titles since 1970. NY lost to currently 10-1 Newark Catholic, lost by one point to currently 8-2 Trimble and lost to 6-5 Liberty Union with multiple starters out during those games.
Fort Frye has to be the favorite. Fort Frye beat Trimble 45-13 and Trimble beat NY 7-6. I’m going to guess the final score of the NY-FF game will be somewhere around the final score of the FF-Trimble game. FF has played a heck of a schedule this year and is battle tested.
Having said that, this is why the game is played. Upsets can and do happen.

I have all respect for NY and they have a great coach.

I think I have to agree with 96. Everybody I have talked to and know, know the challenge we face Saturday night. Most of us are just excited to see where we are against this team but I think if we play our game and show up and play we can make this a game. Ready to get back to Beverly for round 3. Good thing is the bucks are pretty young so I think NY and Fort will be seeing alot of each other in the playoffs going into the future.
