Good venue….always bone chilling cold in playoffs there, ignore the forecast and bundle up

Two excellent teams. Either could win. Buescher is a local product coaching at West Jeff and he was a tremendous QB back 30 years ago….now his son. West Jeff has been this far many many times under Buescher so I’ll give them the edge, but Fairland has proven worthy. I’ll definitely pull for the winner as far as they go.

My thinking was a site more in between both schools. Just thinking ZT was a much closer drive for WJ

It’s a little over an hour for West Jefferson and about an hour and 45 minutes for Fairland to Hernstein

I've watched several playoff games a Hernstein field, and it's always been a good experience. Nice atmosphere for playoff games. Should be a great matchup. I'll take the dragons by 7.

Good place for this game to be played. I was hoping this game was gonna be played at Lucasville Valley. I think it’s much nicer & the parking is way more convenient.

Wondering how Fairland is D6 in football out of 7 divisions but girls are D2 out of 3 divisions and boys go back and forth D2/D3 I basketball out of 4. I just assumed Fairland was D5 in football. Are there many more girls than boys at Fairland? Doesn't quite add up. Close to D5?

4 divisions in girls sports. It is only based on number of boys in grades 9-12 and I believe they recalculate every 2 years, so every 2 years it can change.

I’m wondering exactly what COVID has to do with counting the number of kids in each school. OHSAA using that as an excuse is embarrassing.

I know one thing for sure…. This dragon fan is not overlooking West Jefferson. Look at their record and check out the stats. Simply put this is going to be a tough game on all aspects. Dline will have to create pressure and the db’s will have to limit big plays. Ball control on offense and lean on RB 1 Brumfield all night long. I know my Dragons will be ready for a dog fight! Should be a great game!
