JV beat New Lex too. They finished at 2-2. Waterford and Zane Trace canceled on them.

Tradition doesn't graduate down here and the kids now it. They understand it will be different next year, but they're always up to the task. Next year's team will have a lot of juniors, 16 to be exact. Only a handful of seniors and 8 sophomores. A lot of positions open this year for kids to showcase their talent. Should be another fun season in 2022!

Trimble returns 3 starters on offense, all lineman, and only 2 starters on defense

Wasn't this supposed to be Trimble's "epic year"? I remember reading last year after they beat Eastern, "you had your chance to beat us because we have everyone back next year." Pretty much the same thing after they lost to NC. They were talking about this being the team to finally beat NC if I remember correctly. Too bad no one told EK about the plan. Good luck next year.

That's right, Phat Phil from Walnut Hill never gets "out coached." EK just plain got lucky and they had some help from the zebras too from what the Tomcat faithful has been saying.

EK had a wide receiver that Trimble simply couldn't cover. That was the difference in the game. That doesn't mean that Phil didn't get out coached or EK didn't get a few calls.
